What a gem Congers and all of Clarkstown has with Steve's! I recently showed up a few minutes past closing and all the lights were out. I was sitting outside in my truck deciding where I'd go to find what I needed. Before I could leave, Steve opened the door and asked if I needed anything. He invited me in, turned on all the lights, and was happy to help me out rather than see me drive away.Steve and his staff are always eager to please, their product is incredible, and it's a pleasure to support their business.

Awesome place for amazing meats. Everyone is super helpful and will definitely help out and give honest opinions if asked. This has become my permanent butcher, especially because they have super reasonable prices. I cannot recommend this place enough!

For about two years (ever since moving to Rockland), I have been "planning" on getting good quality butcher shop steaks. You know, at a place that dry ages cuts thickness to your likeness and has a good variety of cuts to satisfy a carnivore like me. Although I heard of Steve's, I haven't had a chance to go there because the store hours coincide with my work schedule, and on the weekends, I am too occupied, cruising the aisles of big box stores that wish they had good quality meat. So I haven't had good steaks in a long time. But enough was enough, and I manned up and called Steve's, hoping they would tell me they're open past 5:30 P.M. Well, they did not tell me that, but they confirmed that they DELIVER! This was a game-changer. I ordered dry-aged T-Bone and NY Strip. They cut them to my preferred thickness of 1.75 and delivered them in under thirty minutes. Long story short, these steaks were medium-rare and went in as quickly as the order to delivery time. This is now my go-to local butcher.

Best service and friendly people BEST FOOD EVER , I can be a bit absent minded and one time I thought I dropped money and the owner kept the store open and helped me look 100 percent stand up turned out it was in my pocket ??

I just had brisket from Steve's last night for Rosh Hashanah dinner and WOW it was amazing. Best brisket I've ever had. My family is still mad at me because I ate all the brisket. I want it everyday for the rest of my life. Today has been bad because I have not had Steve's brisket yet.
