Blue Mingo Grill Reviews
Great food and fast service! We sat outside by the water. We drove an hour away and would definitely go back!
The food and atmosphere was so good that I left with a hoodie. 10/10 💚
The women who seats everyone was rude. Crap cakes were soggy, should have been crisp. Beet salad had very few beets. Very high priced for quality. My friends meal also had issues. I had eaten there in the past and quality of the food was better than this meal.
My brother went one time and left because the women who seats you was rude to him too.
A shame since it’s a lovely location but not for those prices and a rude person. Too many other places to choose from to go...read full review

Blue Mingo Grill is a popular lakefront restaurant in Cooperstown, known for its delightful service and tasty dishes. The menu features favorites like fried pickles, Old Country Salad, and standout items such as salmon, coconut shrimp, and carrot cake. The restaurant offers a beautiful lakeside setting, perfect for people-watching and enjoying the stunning views. Visitors praise the delicious food, good service, and crafted cocktails in a quaint, off-the-beaten-path atmosphere. The outdoor seating includes tables right next to the lake, which can be very chilly, so bundling up is advised. Alternatively, tables on the patio with heaters allow guests to enjoy the lake while eating. There is a small parking lot in the back, and visitors first walk through a shop with merchandise. The lobster roll is filled to the top, and extra toast can be requested for added crunch. All the food is packed with flavor and generous in portion, though the chicken in the Cobb salad can be a bit dry. The views are beautiful, making it a recommended spot for both locals and lake-goers. The restaurant operates seasonally from mid-October to mid-May, so checking the website before visiting is suggested.
