Although we lived fairly close for 10 years, we have never gone in the diner and only visited the baseball hall once . We avoided cooperstown in the summer . With the hysteria over we decided to visit. My wife likes to swim in Lake Otsego and we stay at the Lake View when we come out this way . We did a take out at the diner. I took out a burger and fries and my wife did a fish fry. As I Sit here and look at the lake and write, we have not eaten. The burger looks good for later....
I had the biscuits and gravy, I am extremely picky when it comes to biscuits and gravy. And it was the best I've had in a super long time. The cooked a great job. And the server was very attentive even though she was so busy. Highly recommend it.
This place is so cozy and friendly. Jenn is great! And if you have to choose one thing from the menu, definitely go for the biscuits and gravy. The flavor, size, and price can't be beat!
