Based on the reviews, Norbu Restaurant is a cozy, fantastic Indian spot in downtown Cooperstown. It offers delicious food with expert service in a charming atmosphere. Everything was incredible, like some of the best Indian food ever, with super reasonable prices. The Punjabi tikke was the star. Other specific meals mentioned include the Shorba Pea Soup, Baingan Bharta (roasted mashed eggplant), Zafrani Malai Kofta (paneer potato dumplings), Watermelon salad, Chicken Coconut Soup, lamb curry, vegetarian saag, roasted eggplant, lamb chops, naan bread, coconut mushroom soup, chilli fries, and Curry Chicken. One dish made with broccolirabe sauce was excellent and not spicy. The portions are completely appropriate for the price. Norbu provides an oasis of excellent food with a sophisticated, relaxed local vibe and is an absolute must while in town.
