The Papri Chaat is a five-star appetizer— delicious mix of yogurt and spices on wheat “crisps,” similar to bhel puri but better texture. The pappadum are a must as well. So is an order of the (spicy hot) mixed pickles, in case the entrees aren’t spicy enough for your tastes. I got the chicken curry— generous portion, and tasty with the pickles and naan. (The rice was just ok, though, so I’d get extra naan next time.) My companion got the stuffed mushrooms, which were unexciting but probably not a good bet at an Indian restaurant to begin with. Good beer options, excellent service. A place not to miss in Cooperstown.

My group stopped in here on a whim and we were so happy we did! The atmosphere is nice, the workers are so friendly and helpful, and everything we ate was so delicious. If you're looking for a unique and flavorful experience, definitely give this place a try.

Wonderful experience that somehow pulls off the impossible of making Cooperstown feel like Kathmandu! And the food/drink were spectacular...

A must try. You will not be disappointed. The food was amazing as was the presentation - no corners cut on food quality or tableside service. It was nice to have a little NYC feel in terms of detail and quality, but with the added bonus of warm and friendly owners who engage in conversation too. As locals, we wish we had tried Norbu sooner. Planning to return for both dine-in and take-out very soon!

Had a fantastic dinner at Norbu on Valentine's Day. We opted for their prix fixe special that they were offering for V-Day, and it was excellent. Three courses plus a glass of sparkling wine for $50, and the courses included items like scallops, shrimp, and halibut. This was our first time dining here, and we intend to make it a regular spot when we're in this area. The food was outstanding, both in terms of being delicious as well as different from the usual offerings in this neck of the woods. The portions were generous, making it a good value as well. In addition, service was courteous and attentive. Oftentimes nowadays when we go out to eat (in any town or city), we're left feeling disappointed with so many dining experiences being very expensive yet lackluster in terms of the food and/or service. I'm happy to say that our experience at Norbu was the opposite. My partner and I repeatedly commented to one another how happy we were with our meal. Looking forward to returning soon and often.

We attended a 7 course tasting menu with paired wines prepared by Masterchef finalist Kasae. She is a genius. Astonishing mastery of flavour and texture. I am in awe. On the downside, the restuarant, with so many hard surfaces becomes too noisy to converse, and there is a persistent "club" beat from the speakers that threatened to drive me insane. We finally asked to turn it down and it immediately lowered the noise level as everyone else was able to lower their voices.

The best place to eat in Cooperstown! I'm so grateful and happy that we have such a special restaurant in our little town. The food and service are consistently fantastic. Additionally, my partner is vegan, gluten-free, and nightshade-free. He can comfortably eat off of this menu, which is not the case anywhere else in Cooperstown, and almost nowhere else in Otsego county.

I came in tonight with family as it is my first time in Cooperstown and I've been itching to try momos! When you walk in, you can tell it's going to be good just based on the smell. We got the chicken tikka masala, beets veg kofta, saag, samosas, chaat, and garlic naan. They seated us upstairs as The downstairs area was packed and it was very nicely decorated. This has been some of the best service that I've ever had, they were very attentive, and even asked us if the temperature was OK upstairs (it was perfect). Furthermore, even though the front store was closed, they were still able to get me two orders of Momos and they even made it on the house.

Excellent service and experience . The staff there are so patient and generally seem to love working there. The portions were good and the mango lassi tasted great.

It's so good. Just listen to all the other reviews and go eat the food and be happy...it's a great addition to the area. We got the lamb special and the chicken special and it was delicious--tender and full of flavor. Can't wait to try the momos!

This new spot is a hidden gem. Delicious food! We traveled from Manhattan to visit family and stopped in for dumplings. These were some of the best we’ve ever had including in NYC. We will be back soon.
