Doubleday never disappoints. Visits during the village and baseball off-season still provide top-not specials to go with a baseball atmosphere. You can find simple dishes as well as truly creative entries.The same servers are present year after year, and they are fantastic.
My son and I found the Doubleday Cafe on our way into town to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame. After 11 hours in the car we were famished. There was a plenty of space for us on a Friday night in November so we were seated right away. We had a very nice server who was quick to take our order and bring us our drinks. I had fish and chips and my son the burger. We were both happy with our selections. If we make it back to Cooperstown we will certainly find our way to the Doubleday...read full review
