The service from the bartender was awesome. We enjoyed the ambiance of baseball nostalgia, the food was tasty and plentiful. The drinks were made with perfection.

Walked in with my family (3 young boys). Stood near the entrance because the sign said wait to be seated. Stood there for about 2 minutes before the guy at the bar made a rude comment directed toward my youngest (mind you he's 1.5 yrs old). We walked right back out.Smelled good but I'll take my business elsewhere.

It was so nice I went twice. In town for a conference, first night alone and the waitress was so delightful, the food was so good, and atmosphere so inviting I came back with colleagues. Take advantage of the specials!

Doubleday never disappoints. Visits during the village and baseball off-season still provide top-not specials to go with a baseball atmosphere. You can find simple dishes as well as truly creative entries. The same servers are present year after year, and they are fantastic.

Great service. Great food. Nice cafe on Main Street. So glad we gave the Doubleday Cafe a try. New England Clam Chowder and the Vegetable Quesadilla were soooo good.

this restaurant seems to be a mess every time i come in. there's food scraps on the floor and tables, children running around, bathroom is never cleaned well, just very chaotic and not the place i would go when i'm looking to have a relaxing, enjoyable evening. the food was okay, neither myself or my wife were impressed. the menu is very basic and boring, the specials are occasionally entertaining, but i feel like the more creative they get, the worse the meal tastes. overall, i've had worse, but i try to stay clear of this restaurant.

My son and I found the Doubleday Cafe on our way into town to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame. After 11 hours in the car we were famished. There was a plenty of space for us on a Friday night in November so we were seated right away. We had a very nice server who was quick to take our order and bring us our drinks. I had fish and chips and my son the burger. We were both happy with our selections. If we make it back to Cooperstown we will certainly find our way to the Doubleday Cafe again.

Staff is always friendly. Food is always good.Parking: Parking depends in season. Off season is easy and fre3. On season there's a fee and it's mite crowded. A great place to eat.

Had a delicious reuben for lunch. Lunch was so good we were still full at dinner time so we popped back in for dessert. The mudslide pie was excellent not to mention huge! Would definitely recommend! And will go back if I’m ever in the area again!!

Had Sunday breakfast during our visit to Baseball Hall Of Fame. Good service and food. Restaurant is very small town in a good way. We enjoyed our meals.

Brunch was very good here. Everyone in my party was happy. This is apparently the place to go during the off season in Cooperstown and i can see why. My huevos rancheros were excellent. The coffee could have been better. It was a bit
