Very impressed with a variety of bourbons that were supplied by our bartender. We were here shortly after Easter on the verge of the spring storm. Service was amazing atmosphere was just as amazing. Looking forward to returning next year.

It is just bad . They did not even let me go in to there . I'm guessing that the drinks were bad too . The people were worse for not letting me in . The atmosphere was a lot worse there we literally spider webs and spiders. SHAME ON YOU ,YOU FREAKING LOSER

A MUST visit when in Cooperstown and literally 1 block from the Hall of fame!We have been coming here EVERY year since they opened.Their local beers and spirits are all tasty and make sure you grab a baseball decant to take home. It will look AWESOME on your bar!

Great place to stop at. Nice, warm decor with a few comfy chairs inside & out. Located on the main street downtown with street parking. Short walk from "The Hall". Polite, friendly staff.Cooperstown has not changed much over the years.Baseball Hall of Fame. Plenty of souvenir sports shops. A few casual places to eat.But this place adds a new vibe to the town that was missed. Not only does Cooperstown Distillery make & sell a variety of alcoholic spirits ( rum, gin, vodka, whiskey, etc), they also have a huge cocktail list made with the finest of bartending ingredients. You can try small, free samples of their products AND a nice refreshing cocktail on a hot day.On top of all this, they have tons of products to sell for oneself or excellent gifts!Plenty of local, craft beers, wines, glasseware, books, candles, decanters, shirts, etc. Excellent place to buy ( now) those special gifts to give all year round. Copperstown Distillery is definitely worth a stop in, look see for the grown ups.

We had an A+ experience at both Cooperstown locations, Main Street & Railroad Avenue! The tour was fantastic and we were even fortunate enough to receive parting gifts. An especial thanks to Clara & Gene for their time & hospitality! We'll be sure to stop in next time we're in the area, as you should do too.....Mike TamborrinoStamford, CT

The Cooperstown Distillery was such an amazing time and experience! My husband and I went to their distillery tour which only happens on Saturdays at 2PM. It last about an hour, they take you back into the distillery to the mechanicals, warehouse and even where they age the barrels of liquor. the tour guide provided so much details of the distilling process, answered everyone's questions and even gave us tastes and feels of the liquor through the various steps of the distilling process. You could tell that they not only take pride on their spirits, but that they actually love their jobs! It was incredible and I have never had such a good and educational time doing a distillery tour and I cannot recommend this enough. After the tour, you go into the main bar area and you get to try literally every single spirit they make and the tour guide even stood there and answered all of our questions. Because of this tasting I found a new love for gin, specifically their Fenimore gin which doesn't taste like the normal floral gin. I bought it at the end of the tour. I cannot recommend this distillery and tour enough. You will be sure to be mind blown at just truly hospitable they are and how much they want you to enjoy and learn the process of distilling spirits as well. Make sure to visit when you're in Cooperstown!

Excellent, open-spaced and wide variety-ed distillery with all sorts of New York (and out of state) ryes, whiskeys and bourbons. Open the wood and glass paned door and enter into the wonderful world of spirits, charm, warmth and good nature! There are plenty of places to sit around tables and at the counter to order snifters, shot glasses or larger. The staff is polite, knowledgeable and talkative. It's a hustle and bustle in here during crush seasons and during evening hours. Come early to snag an optimal seat with views of your sports game on TV.The interior is perfect! It fleshes out some sort of wild, woodsy, folksy, Real New York vibe with its wood panels and chrome and wide windows with views of the Main Street in Cooperstown.Drinks are maybe a few dollars more than your local 'watering hole' - but well worth the charm and charisma of this genuine and great distillery.Review: 5+ New York vibe

Great experience! The ladies explained the differences between some of the drink choices and helped us choose something we would like. Everything tasted so good! Will definitely visit again next time we are in Cooperstown! Thanks for a fun visit!

Got a bottle of the Doubleday Bourbon. The only bad thing that I could say about it is that it’s nearly impossible to throw a four seam fastball with that bottle, unless you have hands like Shaq.

What an amazing tour we had at Cooperstown Distillery! The owner Gene personally did our tour and he was so personable - it was great to learn about the distilling process and learn about Gene and his life experiences. The tasting was excellent - we ended up buying six bottles! When you're there, be sure to pet Gracie, the sweet dog Gene and his wife rescued a few months ago. We highly recommend the tour of Cooperstown Distillery!

A must stop and see when visiting Cooperstown. Sports have won lots of awards and there are some great and unique gift items. Great chance to taste test the different spirits and tour the facility. Most sports are cheaper at local liquor stores and at the actual distillery or their location in town.

Such a great experience. The owner gave our tour, highlighting the the highs and lows of his product. Samples were adequate with plenty of time to savor and ask questions. Co-distiller was knowledgeable and approachable. Highly recommend the tour. Bought 2 cases of Spitball... half a case of Fenimore Gin. Unique processes lead to distinctly light and palatable products.
