Good casual local restaurant plus a full bar. All of the employees are efficient and pleasant. All of the food we ordered was good. We were skeptical but it's true. There was a wait of a few minutes so we took a seat at the bar and ate lunch there.
We had dinner at Doubleday Cafe October 18, 2025. It is easy to find on the historic, picturesque Main Street. It was the best Reuben sandwich we have ever eaten. Rebecca, our server, was very friendly and energetic. She explained the corned beef and whole turkeys are cooked right there in the cafe's kitchen. We wished we could have eaten there the next day to try the turkey. We had tried to get seated at several other restaurants outside of town and were glad they were full...
Adorable restaurant, good food good atmosphere. We were looking for a breakfast place since we were in town for a festival and they had what we were looking for. Delicious good and good service.
