I've dined at the Hawkeye Bar and Grill many times and in every season. The food is always good. The service is excellent. Yesterday was no exception. It was a picture perfect day to eat outside. We were lucky enough to get a table with an unobstructed view of the lake. Our server, Clayton, greeted us promptly. It was very clear from that interaction, that we were in good hands. Everything was excellent from the food to the service. The ambience of the venue was exceptional. Our server, Wallace, did a fantastic job. All the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful.
Our server was friendly and polished. He even reminded me to move more in the shade because I was on meds that require me to stay out of the sun. We loved our table and view. The Mezze salad I had with shrimp was awesome as was hubby's cold cucumber soup and grilled cheese sandwich. It was a perfect visit and meal.
