Our go-to restaurant in Cooperstown was closed, so we decided to give Mt. Fuji a try. Honestly, we weren’t expecting much from a small sushi place in Cooperstown but it was actually really good sushi. The service was also pretty good, and the restaurant setting was basic. But we always love to be pleasantly surprised, and Mt. Fuji definitely did that. We’d highly recommend them. -The PowerTrippers
To preface this review, I am from the Bay Area in California. We have lots of amazing Japanese food. We stopped here after 1.5 weeks from home and were tired of pizza, burgers, and sandwiches. We went expecting something less than we were used to, but really wanted Asian food. I rated four stars here because it was what we expected for where we were at and worth it to satisfy a craving. Pricing is really good! Like pre-inflation, pre-pandemic pricing. That was great, especially the lunch time specials. Service was quick and friendly, and portions were pretty. This is a great lunch time pick for some good Japanese food.
