Mels at 22 has a wonderful twist on traditional American food. Great location in Cooperstown and is in walking distance to shops, Double Day Field, and the Baseball Hall of Fame. It has friendly, attentive staff, great food for the price and is kid friendly. We would highly recommend this restaurant. This was our first time eating here. We will be back!

Food was AMAZING service was great! Went for lunch after visiting the Hall of Fame. Staff was so friendly and turned over tables very quick. Cheese curds were delicious. Highly recommend
Food was delicious. Steak sandwich with garlic aioli and red pepper relish. Great service. It would have been better if it were a little quieter, but I guess that goes with the territory.
Best wedge salad i have ever had. got it with blackened chicken.
We enjoyed our dinner at Mel’s. We sampled almost all the appetizers and they were all delicious. There is a large variety on the menu, making it quite difficult what to choose! Some of our group’s favorites were the Chicken Parm and Nashville Hot Fried Cauliflower
We have gotten food as take out from here a few times, and they have the most amazing butter chicken, the most delicious burgers, and delicious desserts ( I loved their creme brulee cheesecake!!)!
Best tasting burger I’ve ever had !!!

We were in town and stopped at Mel's for lunch because of the reviews, location and nice decor. Unfortunately, we did not have the same experience as others. The best part of my meal was the white vinegar dressing; however, it was on the bottom of the plate and the top half of my salad was dry. (I discovered the dressing when almost done.) I ordered a chicken sandwich and the grilled chicken was very dry. I ate what I could because I was hungry and our server never returned to see how everything was or refill our water glasses. We had to ask another server for our check and actually saw our server sitting at the bar eating when we left....

Don't go here
This place is riddled w rodents and an owner who doesn't care about what his diners are putting in their mouths. This guy cares for only your dollars not sanitary service. DISGUSTING!

Had the fish & chips. Excellent. Light, flaky, crunchy crust. Fresh home made Cole slaw, and the fries were top notch as well. Fish & chips is easy to mess up. Mel’s did anything but. The service and atmosphere was really good for an early evening dine with some friends

Quaint restaurant in the heart of Cooperstown, close to the baseball HOF. Nice menu, very good food, and excellent service.
