Love this place! I got a Russian tea cake, big coconut macaroon, rainbow sprinkle cookie, and biscotti. Everything was delicious! And the staff are very sweet. Will definitely going back. One request: if you're ever considering expanding your offerings, I would love some more bread variety, esp. sourdough :)

Genuinely terrible, upsetting, and ultimately disgusting experience here. I'm ashamed of myself for just standing idly by but I watched in shock, horrified as the owner and a young man working for her berated an elderly woman who didn't seem to understand their credit card policy. Truly offensive, rude, and unconscionable behavior. The way the owner treated this women (and it seems from reading other reviews, any customer who has the slightest complaint) is appalling. I can't understand why it's so hard for some people to treat others with a little kindness but even the elderly are fair game now? What is this country coming to? I've never had the courage to complain myself so I have to applaud this woman for advocating for herself and the rest of us because the truth is their policies are not clearly stated, they do charge you more for using a credit card without telling you, they don't tell you how much more, and they don't even show their prices on anything until they're ringing you up. It's confusing to me too! The fact that they couldn't be patient with an elderly woman who had the courage to politely but persistently ask for an explanation and a little fairness was bad enough but to quickly escalate from being extremely defensive to being openly hostile towards her in front of half a dozen bystanders just trying to buy some baked goods and have a nice day out was repulsive and disturbing. The owner's behavior wasn't the worst of it though. The young man working there couldn't just take a deep breath but instead thought it was okay and somehow socially acceptable to become aggressive and rude towards this poor woman who was half his size (telling her to never come back again when she truly was just confused and never said a single mean word to them). The young man even went so far as to ask a police officer who happened in for a coffee to forcibly remove this woman (cane and all, she could barely stand!). And again, she wasn't yelling, she wasn't being mean or rude, she wasn't making a disturbance, but the owner and this young man sure were! Indeed, those dishonors all go to the very rude and ultimately disgraceful owner and this young man. It was all a disgrace to Cooperstown and American small business in general. We're all struggling locally and don't need this kind of bad behavior hurting our town's image. The poor woman was just upset because she didn't understand but never once yelled or said an unkind word or did anything other than try to ask for a little fairness and stick up for herself. Thank God one man stepped up to intervene and she wasn't left all alone to be abused by these people but I'm ashamed of myself for not coming to her aid too and hope letting anyone who reads this know what kind of business they're supporting might make up for it in some small way but in truth it's those two who should be ashamed of themselves. The owner could have told this young man to show a little respect, apologized to this woman, and kept her cool, but instead they bullied her, humiliated her, and even abused police powers asking this poor officer to force an old woman out of their store. How do you two sleep at night or even look at yourselves in the mirror? Are you proud of yourselves, your business, and your behavior? I guess it helps that I've never loved their baked goods all that much but even if they were the best baked goods around (they're not), I'm definitely too disgusted by their behavior to ever eat anything made by someone who would treat anyone that way, especially an elderly woman. Not the kind of business or behavior we need in our community.

I ordered 3 dozen special order donuts for my wedding to go on a donut board. When I called to order the woman, who I believe was the owner, was very rude on the phone. I put my credit card on file and reserved the donuts to be picked up on the morning of my wedding. They got the date wrong and there was no one there to make the donuts. They had to scrounge up about a dozen random donuts that were left that morning. No apology from the owner. It’s a very cute place and they make good food but the customer service and lack of accountability is awful.

Everything I tried was delicious. Loafs, cookies, pies everything. And I tried the chilli too and it was shockingly good. Like it had no business being that good. Anyway you have to go!

Baked goods were good but I think their homemade pizza was the best part. So good I had to go back and get more. They only make it on Friday. I was told you could call and order a pie so you could have it on Friday. No idea the cost but to me it would be worth it. Really good

Just a wonderful bakery. Incredible selection. Wish I had time to try more things. The eclair was dynamite.

Awesome baked goods. It's unfortunate that sometimes the gross restaurant next door smells so bad, it's impossible to enjoy your pastry.

I visited here from Germany to see my brother play on Doubleday Field. This bakery has the BEST pastries! I tried the cheese danish and Boston Creme. Best I ever had. I’ve tried so many pastries all over Europe and this bakery is top tier. Very impressed.

I look up bakeries every time I am visiting a new town. As soon as I saw donuts on their website I was excited. I stepped inside and was in dessert heaven. I bought two Boston cream donuts, a raspberry filled glazed long donut, a chocolate chip cookie, a peanut butter chocolate cookie, and an eclair. The cases were full of sooo many delicious items. If only I could have bought one of each.No pictures because I dug in too quick. It is well worth it to stop in and buy yourself a treat.
