Loved this place! Great ice cream flavors and inside seating for rainy days!

There’s a board with a lot of choices of ice cream, beverages, other treats, etc. but there’s only certain ice creams in the freezer available for the day, which isn’t indicated anywhere. One of the servers was extremely rude when people asked for something that was on the board that they didn’t have. It should be made more clear what flavors are available for the day as people are deciding while waiting in line. There’s a lot of ice cream places in Cooperstown and the surrounding areas; you can get as good or better ice cream elsewhere with much friendlier service. We recommend Cooper’s Barn. To be fair, we came earlier in the week where we had a friendlier server and liked the ice cream, otherwise this would have been a 1 star review.
Kid-friendliness: One of the servers was extremely rude to my 11 year old son. It was a hot day and the store was busy. My son always orders chocolate so he knew exactly what he wanted, but he paused a moment to make sure he was the next in line and the server rudely said, “Come on, we gotta keep this line moving!” Going to get ice cream after baseball is a big thing in Cooperstown and it’s meant to be fun; we were all excited to get ice cream and that ruined it for us.

Friendly staff and fast service! Mango Italian ice is my favorite
They have the best Hershey’s ice cream ever. They play some great music in there, and it’s super cute. It looks like an old 50s diner. Some of my kids wanted ice cream, someone and food, this place was able to offer us both.
This place does not make any attempt to accommodate nut allergies. That's fine; they don't have to. But the person working there was so cold and mean to my son and me, when we asked if they are able to take allergy precautions (which in other places can involve washing the scoop or opening a new carton or scooping away the top layer from the carton). She scoffed at us loudly and said: No! Not possible!, shaking her head. Effectively, her message was "we aren't going to try to make it possible for you to enjoy ice cream, sad mom and child." It's a painful message to hear; if you need to say it (which is understandable!) - just try to be a nice person about it. We left in tears. Just try to be a little less mean when you're disappointing a child.
Was closed for the winter. There was a sign to go to the restaurant behind them, but they did not serve ice cream.
Great ice cream! Glad they are opened later than many in town. The pizza was good too!
The lady was nice but charged an arm and a leg for freezer burnt ice cream… never again.
Stopped by twice and the open sign was on. Another customer besides us left too.Reading other reviews and we didn't miss anything.
I ordered a milkshake & the girl said she couldn’t make it because her boss told her not to make milkshakes when she’s working by herself.

Cute shop!!!
Try the Cappuccino Crunch! Fabulous!
Had ice cream cones. They were the smallest cones I’ve ever had, 2-4 table spoons per scoop, we each had 2 scoops. Charged $4.50 each for less than 3/4 cup of ice cream to have between 3 people.
After touring the Baseball Hall of Fame, it's a good idea to give yourself a treat. Near Main Street, Inside Scoop offers lots of flavors, both hard ice cream and soft serve. We opted for the Hershey twisty soft serve in a dish, which was a better choice for the price versus getting a cone. Customer service was good, too.
Just off Main Street, Inside scoop seems to share a building with a pizza place. Nice variety of flavors and the staff is very friendly. Portions are more than fair for the price.
