Colleen and team are amazing! Super friendly, helpful to these first-time visitors/tourists, great to our kids and us (as were the other staff, but I didn’t catch their names), suggested places in the area to visit, explained the upcoming burger wars (we may come back Sunday for it!), and more.
Just great, small-town feel and conversation, loved it.
And I can’t forget to mention - best burgers we’ve had in YEARS!
Food was very good. We ordered French toast with sausage, a roasted garlic, chipotle and black bean burger, and a bacon cheddar ranch burger along with two milk shakes and iced tea. Service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is cool retro. Only gripe was prices on menu are significantly lower than actual so when we got the bill we were quite surprised. They should tell you that upfront or print new menus.
I was told the waffles came with fresh fruit. The strawberries were not fresh, they were frozen. The waffle was salty. The farmer's omelette and the blueberry pancake were all right.
