We held our staff appreciation party in the Alander's beautiful event space last week. We had a group of 16. The North Star Restaurant at the Alander organized a delicious family-style meal for us, with a great assortment of snacks and a fantastic wine list. The staff was lovely...and we can't wait to host our party again there next year!

Service was great. Had a lovely waitress. Meal was not great. The menu had limited offerings and was already sold out of two items early on a Saturday night. Apps were just ok. Ordered a burger because of the reviews. They were out of buns and served them on stale, crumbly gluten free buns instead without asking. The burgers were overcooked and disgusting.

Absolutely delicious food. Everything was made to perfection. We stayed 2 nights in the hotel and ate here both nights. We had the crab cake dinner and I was amazed at how perfect light and delicious they were(were from the shore, so little judgmental on the crab) but we we 100% satisfied. Night 2 we had the NY strip and the shrimp and eggplant appetizer and again we were blown away. Dinner was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back again.

Waited over an hour for our food, the appetizers never came, and the entrees were just bad. The pork chop was bland and came with a hunk of unseasoned sweet potato, and the “endive” salad literally had no endive in it. The best thing we ate was the kids’ mac and cheese, and that wasn’t even that good.

We caught both their summer and fall menus during our visit and were thrilled with everything! The fall menu specifically was by far the best meal we have ever had! Not even exaggerating, we have not stopped talking about it since. The porterhouse pork chop with sweet potato, the crispy maple brussels, and the rigatoni Bolognese pasta were so good we couldn’t stop eating after being so full we could barely walk. The chef here clearly loves what they do and are amazingly gifted at it. The whole staff was so kind as well. We can’t wait to come back!

Dined here for Sunday brunch, and was absolutely delighted. There are a variety of options; I opted for the sweet french toast, and it was fantastic! The people working here are lovely; we were given 4 delicious caramel mini-cakes, for free, while waiting for our meal that you would pay a good $8 for at your local coffee place. If I am ever in the area, will for sure find a way to come back! Highly, highly recommend.
