Finally! Authentic tasting Thai food! Food was nice and spicy. I got the spicy basil chicken, Thai chicken wings, pad see ew with beef, and Thai fried rice (non spicy for the kids, specify if that’s what you like) Loved it ?? Good job Rain Thai!

Very disappointed with our order tonight. Wanted the basil noodles, received drunken noodles instead. Didnt have any menu items, no duck, no beef dish, no shrimp dish!? Only recieved 3 out of the 9 curry puffs, is the restaurant no longer named Simple Thai? Very unprofessional over the phone, first time and last time, dont order from here (2 stars is for decency of food, otherwise none.)

I live in the area and I can't stop going here. The food is extremely well prepared and tastes amazing. The dine in presentation is beautiful all the dishes are well put together. Can't say enough about their food. Definitely one of the best Thai restaurants in the island taste wise.

As the other reviewer wrote this place is a sham not authentic Thai food. The Chinese version of Thai…like Green Leaf up the road. The restaurant Simply Thai formerly at this location was the real deal. Really sad that they left I was hoping that this Rain place would be a decent replacement, it def is not. I am on my quest again for authentic Thai food

Never again guys! I was anticipating to try this restaurant for over a year now. I just never got around to it, with everything going on in the world. My wife and I planned a date night at home, layed out a nice spread and order some Thai. I picked up my order, rather than delivery, because we were afraid that the delivery may take too long and the food won't arrive hot. As excited I was when I got home, I was just as disappointed. The higher the expectation the greater the disappointment, but I didn't have any expectations. I just expected Thai food. The food was a disgrace to Thai that I've tried in the past. It was stale, saggy, and tasteless. The portion for one is about $60 and I diet lol. The calamari must have been heated up in a microwave, and everything was fluffed with salad. Save yourself the time, money and taste buds.

I live in the building next door and we’ve been wanting to try this place for months; we finally did and it was phenomenal!I thought it looked a bit expensive and the menu was different than most Thai places ever tried, but it was beyond worth it. The quality of food and seasoning were delicious. My wife also got a Thai Bubble tea and she’s obsessed. Also these photos are horrible, we already dug into the food but y’all can see the flavors!Do yourself a favor and go try it!!

We got Tom Yum soup and it was very, very sweet- nice amount of chicken in mine and you get two shrimp and lots of mushroom with that choice, there weren’t any water chestnuts in it. The pineapple fried rice was delicious. The whole fish came with white rice and had crispy skin but bland and the garlic sauce was so sweet that I asked for the Tamarind sauce and that was really sweet too. Just not my taste here. I like to sit in the corner of the restaurant I go to if possible and as the sun was getting lower, close to 5:00 on Easter, the sun shone on the table and I couldn’t fully shut the curtain, too late to move to another table so I was starting to get irritated. No alcohol served here or lettuce type salad, in case you want those options. It was clean, our server was nice and also attentive.

Rain Thai is definitely a must try! When I walked in, I saw they had a vegan curry puff and bubble teas which I knew I had to try. I bought the green tea bubble tea and was pleasantly surprised. It was absolutely delicious and only 5 dollars. The vegan curry puff was also out of this world. Hopefully it's a permanent staple on the menu because everyone must try it! It was just spicy enough and was served with a sweet sauce on the side. The pineapple fried rice my boyfriend and I ordered came in a pineapple which I always love since it's so cute and creative. There's also a pretty bench where you can take Instagram photos. Again, I really recommend this place!

Was a real fan of simply Thai, and was sad to see it go. I am happy to report that the successor Rain Thai is delicious! We had drunken noodle with chicken , which is spicy and A Rama chicken entrée, both amazing!

Forgot half my order and what I did get was not good at all. First time, last time..

On 02/25/22 I had their Basil Udon noodle with duck, which was good. My wife on the other hand had red curry with vegetables and found a strand of hair, about 6 inches long on her broccoli. I hate leaving bad reviews, but food preparation requires you to be aware and clean, especially if you’re paying good money for your food. You must do better, this is not sanitary. You must learn how to run your kitchen the right way, or not be in the restaurant business at all.

Great Thai stop in the neighborhood. Grilled Moo yang is amazing and a perfect taste. A must have. I had two of them.

We've ordered take-out on four different occasions since December 2020. The food quality has been consistent and definitely has better tasting food than the Thai restaurants in Lindenhurst and West Babylon. The owners are friendly and accommodating. So far, we've had the Vegetable Dumplings ($7.95), Chicken Pad Woon Sen ($14.95), Red Curry Tofu ($14.95), Spicy Eggplant Beef ($16.95), Chicken Wings ($10.95), Garlic Sauce w/Beef ($16.95), Pad Cashew Nuts Beef ($16.95), Steamed Thai Dumplings ($7.95), Woonsen Soup ($5.95), Spicy Basil Beef ($16.95), Chicken Pad Kee Mao ($14.95). All were tasty and perfectly spiced. The only disappointment I had was that the eggplant in my Spicy Eggplant Beef dish was over-cooked and mushy. Still, it's my go to Thai restaurant.
