My husband fondly remembered Matt’s from his teenage years (around 1993 - 1995). When we stumbled on it on New Year’s Day (while searching for an open bagel store) he was so happy to find it and told me it Matt’s was the best pizza he’s ever had.
He was RIGHT!
We have pretty much ordered every week since then with no plans to stop and I must say— this is easily the best pizza I’ve had in my 40+ years on Long Island. I’m mad we didn’t realize it was there sooner but better late than never 😂
We always get the Garlic Knot Pizza and Pasta with Alla Vodka Sauce- HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I got a couple different kinds of pizza tonight from Matt's for the first time ever. I think it's the best crust I've ever had, they should definitely be in the running for best pizza on Long island. The sauce is perfect, a little sweet, the staff were very respectful... we will be back!

Matt's Pizza is the best around there is no competition. CJ and the crew are great.
Very disappointed this use to be our go to pizza place basically once a week for years since we moved to coram and it so close. I am not sure what has changed but over the last few months things haven’t been the same. The food isn’t as good as it once was.The sauce doesn’t taste the same at all and the meals I use to order don’t either for example one of the things I use to order was The chicken roll which was a favorite of mine but the last few times it barely had any chicken on it or sauce and they gave all different size rolls some smaller then others and it didn’t appear to be the same amounts on each one and when I questioned it the worker said it is something with the ratio but they all have the same amount inside which isn’t true but I pay the same amount whether it’s smaller or not. I gave it a few more times giving them the benefit of doubt thinking maybe it was just an off day or two. When I complained about my issues with my orders I was told that’s the way it is and we are busy and what do you want from us? They didn’t seem to care if they lost a customer or not. I’m not one to write bad reviews but because of the way my complaints were handled I felt I had no choice. Here is two photos below one showing the ratio comment I got which made no sense and then the other one look what’s inside of the roll and as you can see it’s mostly cheese with a few small crumbs of chicken. You would think if I complained as a loyal customer they would show some compassion and perhaps they would of done right by me when I put in my first complaint but they didn’t.

I primarily do take out (delivery). I have NEVER been disappointed with anything from Matt’s. Their salads are always fresh. And their heroes never disappoint. Their delivery time is great. Thank you, Matt’s Pizza.
