Ate here although the food was good the service is HORRIBLE. The bartender was on her phone not paying attention and when I made eye contact with her to get her attention she would look away! I would understand if it was a busy night but it was slow. I would’ve ordered more if she was attentive also wanted to get dessert but she was focused in her phone. At the end I had to shout for the bill instead or else I would be there all night while shes on her phone.
To make matters worse they automatically charge 20% on every bill without notifying anyone at all. I unknowingly gave her an extra tip even despite her poor service. Im sure she could sense my unhappiness. I was wondering why she was laughing with her co worker after my unhappy demeanor, probably because she scammed me for an extra tip!

We used to love this place, but today it was a total letdown. Every time we visited with our family, they always gave us free refills on drinks, this is why they cost 5 bucks each, but today, the server charged us for the extra refill. She was super rude and didn't seem to care about our complaint. The food is decent, but the customer service is what really matters. I'd rather go somewhere that actually cares about how I feel, not just how much I'm spending. Never coming there again!
Food was pretty good I must say but the service fee is absolutely insane you can’t charge a SERVICE FEE it’s your job to serve your food at a restaurant and then expect a tip COME ON. I feel terrible but when the service fee is over $25 I’m not tipping the poor waitress Bad ownership pay your employees on your dime not the customers!

I have been going to eat there since it opened and the food is good but the employees are becoming money hungry. I went last night to eat and was charged $20 just to get in and the bartender overcharged me for drinks a few times and when i made a complaint to manger, nothing was done

I visited Tainos for the first time on april of 2025 to celebrate a family member's birthday. The food was so good! The presentation was good as well, our server was very nice we had a group of 20 people she did an amazing job.
