We sat there for 3 hours before they came out and told us that there were no steaks available. It's a good thing we had appetizers

I got one of the specials, the Gorganzola chicken, on fettuccine, it tasted like bland alfredo, when I mentioned this to our server Samantha she told me she saw the kitchen put the Gorganzola cheese on it. Another customer was upset because they received their salads before their appetizers and immediately got their meal. They were told by Samantha it was because they ordered something that didn't take long to cook. A good server would put in the appetizers first waited until the customer finished and then put the meal order in. If we ever go there again, it will just be for appetizers and drinks. Oh, and BTW they do not have dry cider despite what the server tells you.

Showed up without a reservation which was our error. The place was half full. Told we had a 20 minute wait “and the kitchen closes at 8”. I get it but the hostess offered no seating or concern for my 94 year old father wobbling there with his cane. I just found her rude and uncaring.

Very disappointing visit. We had been before and enjoyed it....different this time. Service was slow and inattentive. Coleslaw lacked flavor and mayo was watery,; ribs didn't have a lot of meat; fries were not crispy or fresh. View of the falls is always a delight!

Beautiful views, cosy restaurant and good food. We went because it was close to the Cofu National Cemetery after the internment of our loved one and I understand a friend of the family suggested because when she visits her husband's grave she likes to eat there afterwards while sitting along the waterfall and reminisce. She finds peace eating by the water after visiting her husband's grave. Highly recommended to call ahead if going with a larger group after a funeral so they're prepared with staff which was done on this visit. Everyone in our party was happy about their fish, fried or broiled and my cousin was super happy it was baked french onion soup in a crock. They have some solar eclipse themed drinks and the couple ordered were so yummy too. Will be back there again even if my husband and I take a country drive with that stop in mind.Vegetarian options: Mac and cheese was on the menu and the salads had a meat topping to them that can be held. Call ahead if vegan. There was vinegar for the fries that could top a vegan made salad if that is where everyone else wanted to stop.Parking: At least 20, well marked and paved lot.Kid-friendliness: Not a stuffy place, any family member should feel at home there.Wheelchair accessibility: Not sure if there is wheelchair accessibility somewhere but the main entrance has 3 or 4 stairs. There is outdoor seating in good weather that would work but not if the person in the chair needs to use the bathrooms. Bathrooms were big enough for a person with a walker and even a wheelchair but we had a stroller that two people picked up to get it inside.

We accidentally stumbled across this wonderful place. Enjoyed a nice lunch while taking in the view of the waterfalls. The service was very attentive, and the food, drinks, and dessert were delicious.Treat yourself and give it a try.

I have been to this restaurant twice. The first time was New Year’s Eve. My fiancé got a mushroom Swiss burger and I got a a turkey wrap and French onion soup. My fiancé’s burger was okay nothing that stood out. My soup was extremely salty, couldn’t finish it but the turkey wrap was amazing. Service was great and zero complaints. We decided to come here about a week ago for my fiance to get a fish fry. First, it took quite a while for anyone to greet us until the bartender finally did so, and he was very kind. Before that though it was evident the servers were very frustrated when we were waiting there and one of them repeatedly saying to the other “I’m not doing anything” …maybe joking? They wouldn’t even acknowledge us.Anyway, we got seated at a table that had new placemats but was not clean and still had a truli bottle on it we had to remove. The bartender took the placements, never cleaned the table and never replaced the placemats or gave us dinnerware.I order the turkey wrap and chili, asked if I wanted cheese and I said yes. Found out later there was a $1 fee for that, which I wouldn’t mind paying but would be the servers responsibility to inform the guest. No issues with my meal. Everything tasted very good.My fiance got his fish fry and asked for it extra crispy. He received it and it was luke warm and completely soggy on the bottom so it had been sitting for a while. I will say, it took a LONG time to get our food and a table that came in 10 min after us got their food before us and they had a fish fry and a salad and soup.My daughter ordered a BOWL of clam chowder. The server brought out a CUP. We acknowledged the error and asked for the bowl and she kept saying “well it’s a meal”. I don’t even know what she meant by that because she ordered a bowl not a cup. So her correction to this was to bring out another CUP. I figured okay maybe two cups equals the bowl she ordered? Well, we were then charged for TWO BOWLS. So $13 for two BOWLS when she only received cups and all we ordered was one bowl of soup for $6. I wasn’t even going to ask for a correction to bill because the server had a serious attitude problem with everyone around us.We over heard that a server went home early due to an emergency, and we were very understanding but we felt extremely uncomfortable with our server. She was not very kind even though we kept our manners and saying please and thank you for everything.I will likely not be back here for dine in services again because I’m worried I would get her as a server again.I empathize with servers and the stress of their job. I still tipped 20% because at the end of the day she has a family to support. With the cost of everything and the expense to eat out I want a good experience and this second time has soured that for me at this establishment. I hope the server is doing better and does not provide that type of service regularly.
