If you call to ask a question and you speak English, they will just hang up on any English speaking Customer because they do not talk English. They all they have to say is no English, but don’t just hang up the phone.
I stopped by in flushing to drop off a passenger for the us opens and decided to walk around Rosevelt Ave. I already had something before walking in so I got me a coffee and a coconut bread all 7 bucks. The bread and coffee was good and I believe the waiter was a little nervous due to my character possibly. I found it that people are not used to friendly or over friendly greatings due to it being offensive or comming off to strong in other countries ( I’m Hispanic decent). But no worries I will come back. Aye! 😁

I’ll be honest—I fell in love with Colombian food ever since I dated a Colombian woman in college. It wasn’t her that stole my heart, but the cuisine! The place itself is nice, with outdoor seating being a nice touch. However, there’s no air conditioning and it’s summer, which is a downside, especially since this is my third visit in two weeks. The buñuelos are disappointingly small, to the point where you don’t feel like buying one because it’s just not enough. On the positive side, the service is great, and the restaurant is beautiful.
P.S. The name of the coffee shop is in English, suggesting that the owner might be a Colombian woman married to an American. At first glance, the name doesn’t seem very Colombian, so you don’t realize it’s a Colombian place until you walk in.

Came here about a week ago on Tuesday with my father for some ice coffees around the evening, The lady who took my order first was kind and understanding with the order I placed but after some other male employee ask what I wanted in the ice coffees and he kept getting confused on the order, which is Understandable and I had patience but him on the other hand he was very rude, was showing obvious attitude with me by rolling his eyes, his body language especially which made the whole experience terrible and uncomfortable, when the whole time I was calm answering his questions on what I wanted on the ice coffees. wasn’t great after all.

My dad bought an arepa with cheese today and when opening our food the whole cheese was stuck to the paper!! Horrible.
Cozy new place in Corona
We ate our breakfast everyday of our stay in new York.
They had great hot chocolate and Croissant.
The caramel croissant was to die for.
Only a bit taken aback by the fact that the staff did not really talk english, but fortunately I spoke Spanish and they were very kind. It is a great bakery though.
Passed by in morning around 5am to buy some empanadas and pan de bono. Didn’t eat them till 30min later but when I did the empanadas didn’t taste as if recently cooked. They were on the harder side as if they were there from the day before. Same thing for the pan de bono. If it’s morning it should be a new batch. But maybe I just arrived to early in the morning.
