Pat LaFrieda's is the main sit-down restaurant at Citi Field and is located within the Clover Home Plate Club. You need Metropolitan Box seats or better to enter this club, which is on the 1st level behind home plate. There is a big bar, couches, and some concession stands, but the main attraction here is the Pat's steakhouse.

The restaurant tonight was very busy, but the service was fast, and our food was solid. You can even watch batting practice from this establishment. While we still prefer NYY steakhouse in Yankee Stadium as our favorite stadium restaurant, this place was pretty good and worth a visit if you have the right ticket.

This restaurant is all about expectations. You should not expect a high-end steakhouse. This is not one of them. This is a place that serves good food to be had before or after a game at city Field. It turns out that the appetizers salads and filet mignon were just incredible.again we expected a lot less what we given a very good piece of me.. If you’re looking for value, this is not the place. Prices were high for what it was but again they’re only open for the season. I would go back.

We both had the double cut lamb yesterday and they were delicious.Cooked to order the lamb melted in my mouth. In addition the Ceasars Salad was splendid. Our server was caring and helpful throughout the meal. And special thanks to the Chop House ‘s Manager Chris who ensured that everything was perfect! Looking forward to my next visit, when the NY METS make the 2024 baseball playoffs.

Food wasn't cooked to temperature, but it took 45 minutes to get, so we didn't send it back. The restaurant wasn't that busy & the tables around us were.complaining as well. Server was great - not her fault.

I was at the Mets/ Orioles game on 8/20/24. My son and I got the burger and fries... Omg, the patty was just a tiny bit bigger than a White Castle patty, we were really pissed. Then we were home watching the game on TV the next day on 8/21/24, Same teams, afternoon game where the announcers get food in the booth from different vendors, and they just happen to bring them burgers from Pat LeFrieda's... These burger patties were huge, the size difference was unreal, and they were topped with a nice big pile lobster. Talk about false advertising, I hope people read this and avoid this concession while at Citi Field, it's bad enough EVERYTHING at the ballpark is overpriced but for the price and size of the patty, this was truly a rip off.

we had a good experience today. I would recommend the table side Caesar Salad. It was very good. My wife had the scallops and thought they were very good. My clients had the Cod and the braised ribs and thought they were good. I had the '1/2 chicken. Some of it was good but the breast part was very dry.

Another excellent experience at Pat LaFreida Chop House at CITI Field. The food was excellent (Caesar salad with shrimp; tuna tacos; hamburgers and fries; fabulous appetizers). Large portions, each dish was special. The service is excellent-attentive, but not hovering; food came out quickly; special requests honored, etc. And when our grandson decided to save half his burger to eat during the game and then proceeded to drop it on the floor as he transferred it to box they provided, the manager and waitress came over with a freshly prepared burger (and fries) placed in a box ready to take to the field - no charge to us. Now that is above and beyond service!! Thank you!!!

Great food as always! Wish I could come on days there isn't a game but unfortunately they aren't open. Definitely my favorite spot to take a client before the game and always must start off with calamari

This is a place we would not go back to. The lobster blt was pretty much all lettuce and tomato. There was one piece of bacon and a very small piece of lobster on it and it cost $50. The lobster roll was not the best and that was $45. The worst part of it was the filet mignon steak sandwich. I took one bite of the steak and had to spit it out as it tasted sour, and then my husband did the same. I don't know what was wrong with it, but it was terrible. However, the manager did come over, he apologized and agreed with the look of the steak, he took it off the bill. Then we mentioned about how the lobster BLT was pretty much just lettuce and tomato and he apologized for that as well. He then bought a round of drinks to make up for it, which I thought was really great. The ambience is very pretty, but definitely would not go back for the food.

As it has been from the very first day that Citifield opened (I was there), the food, when you finally got it, was very good...The problem is that it takes so long to get it....It may be that the kitchen is not large enough or that there are not enough people working the room, but every time that I have eaten there (and as I said, I have been going there since the first season, 2009) it takes way too long to get your food...I don't see any reason why, if you have a 6 PM dinner reservation, that you can not get out to the field by the 7:10PM game time....If I have an important client, I am forced to eat away from Citifield before the game....I have written this similar review a few times through the years and it obviously has fallen on deaf ears....

Seated and ordered entrees and drinks at 630. Food arrived at 710. Lobster roll was good. Chips were bland. Ordered medium rare steak. I got medium well and forgot my side. Wife ordered medium well she got medium rare. Risotto was thick, pasty and bland. Brussels sprouts were tasty. Underwhelming experience.

The hostess sat us at our table and gave us menus. We sat there for 15 minutes until I waved at a server so maybe we can get some drinks and place our order. Felt like we were being ignored. The Calamari appetizer came. It was ok, but not very hot. We let it go. I ordered a steak sandwich which was tasty, but the fries were cold and the sandwich was barely warm, but not hot. We didn't have time for coffee and dessert. Overall the experience was so so......

Visited the chophouse twice this season and I really enjoyed it. I was sad when I found out they closed the restaurant with the glass windows because I went all the time, but finding out about the chophouse was a great substitute, the calamari and half chicken was fantastic!

The Chop House was amazing. Great place to eat before a game.

I've been to the chophouse a couple times and although the first time was great, it keeps getting better. My burger was juicy and the tuna tacos were tasty. Although the Mets lost made the trip out to Citi Field worth it
