For lack of a better way of putting it, this is the most different Chinese food in Cortland.
Most of the other Chinese places seem to all be pulling from the exact same recipes with very little difference from one restaurant to another. Hunan has more or less the same menu as everyone else, but their recipes seem to be either homegrown, or based on some different footprint.
The result of this is that there are some things I feel they're the absolute best in town for, like the hot and sour soup, while other things aren't my favorite like the Sesame Chicken, and still others are just a nice change of pace, like the boneless ribs (which seem to use a different cut than any other place, which is neither better nor worse IMO.)
I guess if you're eating at other Chinese places in Crotland and feel like some specific menu item is lacking, it can't hurt to try this place.
Also, I did hear that delivery can be slow with this restaurant, but can't confirm this since I always pick up my orders.

I thought this would a good place to grab dinners. Big Hunan is on my way. Next time I will go across town to find some place else. I order general chicken, egg rolls and steak with peppers. All the food was gross. None of my family ate any of it but a few bites. We ended up ordering pizza instead. Which was sad cause all of us were looking to chinese food night.
The atmosphere was creepy should have tipped us off first. The place looked closed up from the outside. You walk in and it's empty except for box's of supplies. And children playing.

TLDR: Very tasty
I just moved to Cortland with my Fiancee from Binghamon, and we're big fans of Chinese food. We spotted this place while driving around, exploring the area, and I made note of it.
Today I wasn't up to cooking so I made an online order. We got 2 combos. General Tso's Chicken, and Kung Pao Chicken. The food was nice and hot and delicious. Better than anything in Binghamton. The egg rolls tasted nice and fresh. I will be coming back.
Horrible delivery service . Waiting 2 hours for an order is CRAZY . Y’all not even that busy to be makin us wait this long . Why do you think I don’t tip .
Nathan and Jessi say this is the best food in Cortland! Awesome people and very friendly! They are some of the greatest people I've ever met!
The food was amazing.

Ordered sesame chicken combo and cheese wontons. Buried by layers of greasy dough and sugary sweet sauce, the chicken pieces were woody and pea sized. The cheese wontons were soft and flexible and the filling was runny... how? The vegetable fried rice tasted fairly OK, it had a slight smokey grill flavor which was off putting. The egg roll was good, and was the only thing I didn't throw in the trash. Never again.

Worst Chinese food I ever had. I had chicken with mixed veggies. Chicken was mushy with stringy fat cooked with it. Apparently, it was not trimmed properly. The baby corn in it was old. You can taste it. The broccoli was so mushy that you could've choked on it. I threw my whole combination out. Disgusting ??
