Overall the atmosphere was nice, the staff was attentive, and the food was good. My only complaint was that for a restaurant at that price point (but honestly, I would feel the same at any price point) - I was completely shocked to discover that the side of mashed potatoes I ordered were INSTANT and not real potatoes! I don’t know that I’ve ever been served instant before, even at chain restaurants. Despite that, the rest of my meal was tasty though.

I’ve had this place on my list to visit for a while… was excited to go for dinner today. Called, no answer but it was open according to Google so I drove over. Arrived, restaurant was about 70-80% full. Waited at the host stand for about 10 full minutes - no one came to greet me. I saw patrons looking at me, saw a server look over, even the bartender sort of glanced over. No one said hello. No one said goodbye. No one said anything. Left disappointed and hungry.

If you're ever in the Coxsackie, NY area and craving authentic Italian cuisine, Che Figata Italian Bistro is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the cozy atmosphere immediately sets the stage for a delightful dining experience. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home.

The food is exceptional—every dish is bursting with flavor and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The pasta is perfectly cooked, and the sauces are rich and full of depth. I highly recommend the handmade gnocchi and the seafood pasta, both of which were absolutely delicious. The wine list is thoughtfully curated, offering a great selection to pair with your meal.

What truly sets Che Figata apart, though, is the attention to detail and the passion for authentic Italian flavors that shines through in every bite. Whether you're enjoying a romantic dinner for two or a family gathering, this bistro provides a warm and inviting experience that will keep you coming back.

Overall, Che Figata is a must-visit spot for anyone in the Hudson Valley. It’s a true hidden gem that delivers fantastic food, excellent service, and an unforgettable dining experience.

My husband and I eat here pretty regularly, and the food is usually very good. Tonight my husband ordered veal Parmigiano and it was served without the cheese. I ordered zuppa di pesce and it was uneatable. The calamari was like rubber and the sauce was horrible. I could not even eat any of it. The restaurant was busy, and by the time I saw my waitress again, the busboy was cleaning the table. He asked if I wanted to wrap up my food, and I told him no, it was horrible. He just took it away with no response. When we got the bill, the waitress asked how everything was, and I told her the food was uneatable. I was only able to eat the mussles, clams and shrimp. The majority of the dish was calamari and spaghetti and I couldn't eat it. We ended up paying for uneaten food. I understand everyone was busy, but having to pay $34 for a horrible dish is no way to do business.

Woman mopping men’s room floor rinsed out mop in sink at the bar.
Then went to open dessert case without washing hands. Dead flies in light fixtures and flies flying around the bar area

Quaint Italian bistro. Food is fabulous (Thanks Sal ). We arrived at around 5pm and it was quiet with probably around 6 tables filled. Before we left the place was full and everyone seemed to be enjoying their time. We will definitely be putting this restaurant on our list to revisit whenever we're in the area. 👍👍

Parking: Street parking, ample spots early in the evening and in a quiet corner of the village.

Amazing restaurant! Loved the food and the atmosphere. Would highly recommend Che Figata Bistro! Salad, bread and olives were a nice touch and our entrees (red snapper special and Rigatoni Ragu) were fabulous!

Che Figata Italian Bistro. Coxsackie N.Y. If your palette craving fried calamari you won't be disappointed ,calamari lightly battered and delicious. Spaghetti with meatball had nice flavor but the garlic was a bit burnt and sauce had to cook more to release acidity. Also short rib with linguine had nice flavor but the acidity in tomatoes needs to cook more to evaporate uric acid. Also the mussels in apple reduction had wonderful flavors but the mussels were poor in size. Today was a miss in some of the dishes. But ,If your ever in the neighborhood give this place a try.
