Just had dinner at red's or should I say I ordered dinner at red's on a table just off to the side of the bar tonight with my brother-in-law and his wife me and my daughter. Got there at 4:30 never received our dinner I'm almost 6:00 our waitress was also the bartender that makes no sense at all I ordered a simple hamburger medium rare and when the dinner finally came I took a bite of a completely raw not rare raw Burger and it wasn't even hamburger believe me folks I've ate plenty of raw hamburger out of the package of salt pepper and onion powder on it and garlic powder I don't mind eating raw hamburger this didn't even look like hamburger I took one bite and had to spit it out. My waitress/bartender wasn't really even available we ordered drinks 20 minutes later she shows up and asked if we wanted anything and never brought the drinks and then had to remind her of our drinks. The girl that was busting the tables came over to us and asked to clear our table after our appetizers and thought we were done we haven't even received dinner our meals I think it is an absolute joke what happened there tonight shame on them I don't even give it a star the beer was actually even warm not even cold pathetic

Above average seafood. Waitstaff is well seasoned.

I ate here a few weeks ago and the waitress said we have a special on steamers so I’m thinking of steamed clams. She brings out raw mussels my friend ate his and I told her I wanted clams so she brings me out raw clams ??. I thought it was steamed clams. She was like clueless and she should have made it clear that it was raw. But long story short my friend liked what he ordered I think he got the fish and chips. I got some type of pasta with lobster, scallop and shrimp and it was ok.

The service was friendly. Food took some time to come out, but we were a party of 9. Would leave 2.5 stars if i could. Stuffed shrimp was good, probably the best seafood stuffing I have had. I ordered the stuffed sirloin, and it was good, but the potatoes and over cooked broccoli were not warm. Grouper came out cold. We were very disappointed that they charged for extra bread, $1 for each roll, but never said anything or asked how many we wanted. They also charged for lemons for our water. Very distasteful when entrees are $30+. It was my mother's birthday and no dessert or anything. Not that they have to, but at a higher end place, it might be worth considering as a business.

I have been here about a half dozen times. It has been decent at times but mostly spotty and inconsistent. I start at four stars because the place is basically a dive (see pic of maintenance deferred by about 50 years). Drop at least another star when the food is sometimes very poorly prepared. They are proud of their fish fry. Prepare to be disgusted and walk out hungry when they drop a greasy slimy inedible mess on your table. If you order the grouper dish the fish may not actually be cooked. Calamari should not resemble rubber. Jam us (a couple) in a corner behind a party of 8 with tables pushed together after refusing to let us sit in the quieter bar area because you are booked; start me off with a drink in a filthy glass, then bring back another dirty one when I complain; serve bread in a filthy metal bucket (see pic); snatch dishes off the table without asking if I am done; forget all about a veggie substitution, even after a reminder....then charge me for drinks and appetizers when l leave needing to find someplace else to eat.... I think even 2 stars may be generous.

2 out of 7 couldn't eat their dinner, completely raw burgers, didn't want to wait an other 1.5 hours for me ones. Alaskan King Crab was like rubber, lobster flight did look good though. Waitress completely inattentive and manager couldn't be bothered after food was sent back. And don't get me started on how the holiday buffets run. My daughter wanted seafood for her 21st birthday and was disappointed, couldn't even do dessert, after almost 3 hours we were tired and needed to get out of there. Still managed to spend $380 for 5 out of the 7 to eat

I had dinner at Red’s for their Sushi and Sake event. It was a Friday night so it was extremely busy, which was to be expected and nice to see. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and the restaurant itself had a great ambiance. We got drinks from the bar which were delicious, and the sake tasting was really nice, we plan to take a trip down and do a tour of the sake brewery. The menu is well thought out and creative, for dessert we had the red wine ice cream which I haven’t been able to stop thinking about. It was my first time and I will definitely be back!

A Sunday evening. Restaurant not busy. Waiter was working both sides so service slower than expected. Shrimp cocktail had 4 out of 5 shrimp soggy texture. New England clam chowder had pieces of crab shells in it and was just slightly more than luke warm. The signature crab Louie salad was good with fresh greens and plenty of crab meat. Asparagus was soggy. Companion had onion rings and they came out looking good, crispy and fragrant but the skin was not peeled off and half the rings had a chewy non- edible skin. Dessert looked great…chocolate cake, mousse, chocolate ganache but was on the dry side. In this case looks were deceiving.

The wait staff were friendly and attentive. The rice pudding was excellent. The mashed potatoes were good. However, the seafood subpar. Reds needs a new chef related to preparing seafood. The calamari was bland. The combination fry was heavily breaded, unevenly cooked and very bland. We had to douse the seafood in cocktail sauce and salt. We were suprised at the poor quality since it advertises seafood as its specialty. We might give it another try- because of the staff.Parking: Parking was adequate

Food is great. Service can be a little slow. Prices seem on par with the current market.
