The bartender working early Friday evening is absolutely the WORST. Photos for your place show food yet you don't serve any. That's fine. However I certainly don't want to pay for the privilege of being insulted and degraded. Even overheard him tell one table they looked like they couldn't read? There's no way this is the first complaint about such a gem of an employee. Will not be back. Wish they allowed negative stars.

Is this still a functioning restaurant? I'm in the area for work and there aren't many options around. Drove out of the way two nights in a row to try it out during their posted business hours and found a building with no lights on and no patrons inside. What gives?

I lived up here with my parents briefly before joining the Air Force. This was the only place that felt like home to me (Southern Illinois). Miss this place man! Blue Point toasted lager and the garlic buffalo wings!!!!!!! What were the wings called again?

Went for drinks with coworkers and the servers were super nice and made sure we all had drinks despite our large group and the fact this looks like a small bar that doesn’t get large groups. Very friendly service.

We recently had our rehearsal dinner at Cask and Rasher and also had their catering department Fire Candy Catering cater our wedding reception and brunch and everything was absolutely amazing. Jocelyn provides outstanding service and literally catered to every need i had for all 3 events and was such a pleasure to work with! The food was fantastic from the delicious burgers at the rehearsal to the BBQ reception and brunch display. Our guests are still talking about how amazing the food was and wished they had all received leftovers to take home! Would definitely recommend for any event!

this friendly and family owned pub will be a necessary stop on all of our trips upstate. The server and bartender were great, and the food.... lets just say that their fried chicken is better than any other piece I've had (and I have lived in the south).

Food horrible the service OMG lacking in such a big way attitude, we were given less attention than the table of 5 next to us, BIG MISTAKE, if you can treat all customers the same then find another job. Not sure how this place gets high reviews friends and family maybe. We had the fish and chips I get far better from a grocery store and can make better with my eyes closed.
