Ordered in and I would say it was pretty mediocre. I don’t know why there are raisins in a shrimp fried rice either…. It doesn’t necessarily taste bad but Not authentic at all

The food was good and fresh however the customer service was not so great. We came here on a Saturday night and were rushed to finish the food and leave so they can go home for the night before closing time.
We were still enjoying our food but the waitress came with the check already at the table without us asking. We didn't even have the chance to add on dessert. Soon, she came by to ask if the check was taken care of yet and no because we were eating still. So we had to stop eating, wipe our hands and pay right away before we can finish the food.
They even turned off the air conditioning, TV and some lights. They close at 10pm on Saturday's and it was 9:32pm and we were being rushed to leave. We left there by 9:40pm. It wasn't like we overstayed. What's the point of having business hours? Not a pleasant experience having to shove food down while they're all standing there watching with their coats on ready to leave.

I love Tzen. I ordered from them on a weekly basis. They have a great lunch menu. The fish is always fresh and delicious. I always get the sushi and sashimi lunch combo with a spicy tuna roll instead. And a hot and sour soup, which is very very good. Their wonton soup is also very good and a generous portion. I believe they make their own wonton dumplings for the soup. Their hot food lunch menu is also a great deal and delicious.

Please don’t say “Crispy” General Tso Chicken. There was absolutely nothing crispy about this. Very expensive

Picked up dumplings, chicken & broccoli and wonton soup. The chicken was very chewy which seemed off because very thin, well cooked sliced pieces of chicken should not be chewy. No tenderness. Threw it out.
I got food poisoning from the Salmon Avocado roll. Do not order sushi here the seafood is horrible and gave me terrible food poisoning

We get it delivered—sushi is a grade above most places—very fresh—inventive rolls—so good that it would be a disservice to not leave a very positive review! Even the wonton soup was extraordinary!

The food is great, service is very good but the restaurant is always empty which is a pity. They should do at least few days a week a "all you can eat" for like $25 per person. Get more traction so people get to know the restaurant. They should just do better on that area as the restaurant has all the potential to be full at all times and yet always empty.

"Hidden Gem Alert! If you're in Cross River , you absolutely must try Tzen Asian Bistro. I recently had the pleasure of trying their lunch specials, and wow, was I blown away! The Szechuan crispy shredded beef was a flavor explosion – perfectly crispy, with just the right amount of spice . We also had the eggplant in garlic sauce , it was very flavorful . The portions were also very generous .

I’ve only taken out. Have not eaten in so can’t comment on service, etc. raised in nyc, I’m a Chinatown devotee. I’ve eaten Asian cuisine for close to 60 years far and wide. This restaurant shocked me with how good every dish I’ve tried. From crispy fried dumplings, to perfect hot and sour soup to entrees, every dish has been truly excellent. I rarely give 5 stars in any review. This restaurant deserves it.
Parking: Large lot, always plenty of spots.

Food always arrives hot and fresh when ordered for delivery, staff is also conscious about labeling food with names if needed. When dining in, staff is friendly and food is always delicious. Lunch specials are a must :)
