The food was brilliant. The service was marvelous and the ambience was amazing.Overall the food we ordered was fresh and delicious the spices were perfect and the pricing was fair.I recommend everyone near or far to go visit this place and leave them a great review.I ordered their lamb samosas and they were the best i ever had.
Went to this restaurant looking at the reviews and tried their Buffet. Everything we tried was tasteless, no flavor, and dry. We felt bloated the whole day and lost our appetite after this lunch. Not sure why the restaurant has such high rating, the food we had was negative 5 star. I generally do not review restaurants but writing to save others from such bad experience.
This place has the basics of Americanized Indian cuisine down cold. Fantastic tikka masala, the saags are great, naan breads are awesome. Love the appetizer choices. Can get busy and have a wait. Friendly staff. While can make mixed drinks, stick to beers and wines. For take out, they do an excellent job. Same great quality and service. Careful asking for heavier spices - can get hot real fast!
I just read your response to my review. It is very pathetic. You completely failed to list the ingredients on your menu. I have reported you to the health department. They will be in contact with you. This is disgusting. How dare you blame GrubHub. You are the problem you failed completely to Put in that your dishes had nuts. You lied and failed to put that in and caused my daughter to end up in the hospital shame on you so disgusting. My daughter had an anaphylactic allergic reaction - due to THEIR FAILURE - to list nuts in their foods. My daughter has sever but allergies . My daughter life was threatened today . She is only 10 years old. The restaurant did not have much concern . They responded that they wanted Grub Hub to inform them — this was such a poor response by the manager . We were celebrating Father’s Day with turned into the biggest scare of my life.
. Be careful - this food was a life threatening experience .
Been here several times. Great food and the owners/ staff are very friendly and accommodating.
*6/5/25 - well, that was then this is now. The food remains very good but pricey. Nothing like Curry Row (which is on 6th St, not 7th) or the northern version which is on - well, I'll keep that to myself. Anyway, I am reluctant to return to any place that charges more for using a credit card. I find that practice insulting in the extreme. So while I do like the food, I'll go elsewhere unless someone is picking up the tab.
Sorry, you've lost a customer.
Ever since the original owner left the food hasn’t been the same. It’s very salty, we always order the chicken amwala and chicken korma it used to be so creamy and delicious and now it’s def different, not that it’s bad but def not like the original.
Awesome restaurant great food great service. 👍
Absolutely delicious buffet yesterday. My wife said it was the best chicken tikka she’s ever had! But the service was really incredible. Very warm family. We will be back again and again!
This is hands down my favorite place to eat. Not just my favorite Indian place, but my favorite overall restaurant. The food is so good it's craveable. I've eaten here every couple of months for years since they were located at India House and have never once had something that was not delicious. It's a family restaurant and all the members I've met were so gracious and kind, always smiling. The interior is beautiful. But the most important thing is the food and I cannot put into words how delicious it all is. Service is always friendly and everything about this place is on point. 10 stars in my book!

Excellent food - one of the rare gems in Croton that’s great, even by NYC standards. And - bonus - everything on the menu basically for two people so the prices are fabulous.

Meant for american taste buds. It is not Indian taste bud consumption. Recent went and found how tasteless and unspicy the food was.
