Samantha made this gorgeous and delicious cake for my daughter’s bridal shower, that happened this past Saturday. Samantha listened carefully to everything I said I wanted the cake to be, its specific flavoring, our specific dietary restrictions (dairy free but butter ok, not vegan) and particular Art Deco design, and created this little beauty. I could not be happier, it was absolutely perfect to the last detail, absolutely delicious, everyone loved it, and my daughter was ecstatic. Mission accomplished!I highly recommend The Dessertist to anyone who wants an absolute masterpiece that tastes even better that it looks. Ah Samantha is an amazing artist! She did our wedding cake and since we were in the full blown pandemic we needed a small cake. Well she did a two tier wedding cake with our fav flavors : chocolate for the base cake and vanilla with fresh blueberries. It was a pure delicacy for the eyes and for our taste buds. Samantha has created delicious, beautiful cakes for us three times now. She made an eye-catching cake for my daughter’s sweet 16 dinner with the extended family. The cake was a white cake with cookies and cream filling. Definitely a hit with everyone, and after that night, I knew I would be purchasing more desserts from her!
The other two cakes she’s made for us were for my parent’s and in-law’s 50th anniversaries. For both cakes, we gave her a picture of the original wedding cake and she made modern version for each of the parties. They were absolutely beautiful, absolutely perfect, delicious, and we got so many compliments on the cakes and her modern renditions. They were both marble cakes with cannoli filling.
Samantha is easy to work with, flexible, and professional. She is reasonably priced and a very nice person. I would highly recommend The Dessertist!

We were all amazed at how well the flavor was replicated into the cake. I was also very appreciative that the cake was the perfect level of sweetness.
