In pre-Covid days in the summer i often came for the takeout and to sit under their tent. Usually had by a very tasty seafood sandwich. Returned this Sunday and sat with my daughter in their very clean and comfortable indoor sitting area. Order at the counter where menu is posted as well as a blackboard of specials. We ordered the fried calamari and seafood risotto. The calamari was exceptional and truly the best I’ve ever had. The seafood risotto was not what a risotto is. It was not creamy and with two clams three mussels two thinly sliced pieces of chorizo and three shrimp placed on top. Go to an Italian or Spanish restaurant for a better creation with more Mediterranean flavor. I will come back for the calamari. They have in a can local wine. Pinot grigio was really good.Service is good but wish they had given us a small receptacle for the shellfish.

Brauns has two parts. One has prepared takeout food with a couple of table if you wanted to eat in. The other has the fresh fish market and quite a few prepared food items you can take to heat and eat at home. We tried both. The takeout food was OK. It took a long time to prepare, but I think that was because it was a slow day off-season. The fish tacos were nothing special. In the market we bough stuffed flounder with spinach and feta to have for our next meal. It was delicious. If I had it to do over again, I would have skipped the grill and gotten both meals from the market.

This was a great find. We walked over from our anchorage in the middle of Cutchogue Harbor. It's a paper plates and plastic forks type of place, but the seafood was amazing. Whole 1.25 lb lobster for $20 the day we were there. I had the fish tacos. Delicious. Very friendly service.

I had the $40 Lobster Roll (Market Price) which was a generous serving of lobster and came with amazing fries and on a perfectly toasted and buttery roll. There was some seasoning on the lobster and I would have preferred it with just butter but this is something that I'd been craving for a while, so I left happy. My friend got the lobster bake which for $20 was an entire lobster, so I definitely felt like my roll was a bit overpriced, but alas it was what I was craving. Not the best lobster roll I've had but it hit the spot.Tip: There is a farm stand across the street that has the most amazing homemade ice cream for $4. If the freezer is empty make sure to ask if they have any in the back.

This used to be one of my go-to places for the best seafood reasonably prices and well prepared; but on my last visit the food was all pre-cooked and not fresh. It took just minutes to prepare my order, not good.

The perfect seafood place to stop at while out on the North Fork. Menu features a variety of fried seafood as well as upscale fresh seafood dishes.

This review is for the seafood market - which is excellent! Stopped here twice last week. First time for a few pounds fresh clams and mussels. The best ever. Made a seafood dinner for 12 people and every shellfish opened up! Then got 8 huge swordfish filets and 2lbs of Salmon. Best swordfish I ever had. I thought there would be leftovers - but everyone polished their plates. Total repeat!

Very fresh fish, shrimps and oysters. Got the friend combo. The young staff very professional and attentive. I'm not a big fish eater but it was good. My two critiques would be it's so hot they need to pump up the AC and they need to season the batter cause it was bland. Easily fixed.

For an impromptu dinner on the beach we ordered dinner to go. I ordered the Mahi Mahi Trio tacos. The quality and portion was great, especially for $15. Others in our group ordered Tuna and Salmon entrees that looked awesome and according to them tasted great. On the positive Braun’s kitchen stays open until 8pm for dining whereas its competitors close at around 5:30 or 6. Perfect for impromptu get together or that last minute I don’t feel like cooking moment. Also positive are the quality and portion for the price.I did find the menu a bit limited weighted more toward fried seafood that is not always appealing to those wanting lighter fare or gluten intolerant. In this area their competition rates higher.

Great friendly service! unfortunately, the food itself is a total disappointment. Maybe I came on the wrong day, but the main entrées were burnt- the salmon and the swordfish (catch of the day!). Not just slightly burnt, but completely burnt taste. You really can't taste the fish- Literally, asking for colon cancer kinda burnt. The lady that came in after us complained about the burger tasting burned and disgusting. they were nice enough to switch her order. As my brother describes it, even the rice taste better than the fish. The fries and chicken tender was pretty good. My son enjoyed the garlic buttered mussels. Over alll, this place is over priced for a small portion of food. I'd say you're better off eating fast food.

Lobster roll, bok choy and roasted Brussel sprouts were to die for. Mahi tacos were very good as well. Nice atmosphere and dog friendly
