Born in New York and grew up in Huntington. This is my First time at Romas and visiting mom from Virginia, my son has never been to any authentic New York pizza joints. So when we tried Roma’s, he had the Sicilian and he told the owner “it’s the best pizza he ever ate”. Coincidentally the owner knows Tony from our local pizza place in Virginia.
Real glad we got up for some real New York pizza before leaving to go home in little ol’ Virginia.
Unfortunately I was not in pressed with the food I Got, I'm not sure why I got pasta with red sauce on the side when my food was In lemon white sauce, the hero I got half the sausage was on half and the paper and onion was on half and then they cut my hero in half and I order two salad which were fine but it wouldn't let me order online a ceaser side , it kept saying half a tray or whole tray, then there music was super loud and extremely uncalled for with the words...
I order pizza here pretty regularly but last night I placed an order. They forgot a slice- which they refunded when I called. And I should have checked. However I got the baked pasta trio and the ricotta cheese in the stuffed shells and manicotti and lasagna was sour. It must have gone bad. So that $20 dish was thrown in the garbage. The marina very bland. I admit I was surprised. I chalk it up to life but hope someone checks that cheese because I wasn’t the only one that tasted...
