Big Sky is a total hidden gem. The outside shell does not represent the inside. Wonderful staff who are very entertaining. My cheesesteak was tasty. Will return the next time I'm in town.

online order said 40 mins go to pick up only to be told they got busy and it would be over hr longer. Most restaurants would hurry up and make order they forgot rather than making customer wait longer. A courtesy call saying something would have been nice knowing you didn't even start it at the pick up

We were driving home to NYC after visiting SUNY Geneseo and Big Sky came up as a restaurant suggestion, so we took it. Pretty basic from the outside but once you walk in, you feel like you're at a local joint with great character. Amazing taxidermy on the wood covered walls. Our waitress could not been kinder. And the food was delicious! My husband and I each had burgers and they were perfectly cooked and tasty as heck. It is definitely worth the short detour from the freeway to have a great meal at Big Sky Restaurant and Saloon.

Ordered prime rib with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Got a little tiny scoop of potatoes and literally one piece of broccoli. Asked for my prime rib med rare came out way over cooked and was the smallest 10oz piece I have ever seen. On the up side the service was excellent!! 5 stars for our wait staff!!Kid-friendliness: Family friendly!! Kids menu available.

Never thought I’d give this place a 1 star but literally went there sat down watched 3 people come in after we done ordered 30 minutes earlier and every single one of them was served before us I’m not an impatient person but that ticked me off . Then told the waitress I’d just like to pay for my drinks and go she says are foods done if we would like to get it boxed I said sure .. get home to find they gave us some macaroni cheese cup size meal for 60 bucks . Not worth it and yet this was my favorite place in Dansville .
