The Sunrise Restaurant in Dansville provides a quick and easy dining experience with a menu full of delicious food options, including chicken quesadillas, chicken wings, chicken broccoli Alfredo, and sausage biscuits and gravy. The service is friendly and attentive, ensuring that drinks are refilled as needed, although some have noted that it can be a bit slow at times. The restaurant has a charming hometown atmosphere, catering to a range of customers, including families, with a welcoming feel for kids. The portions are generous, making it a great choice for those who enjoy leftovers. The chocolate cream pie is a standout dessert, while the peanut butter pie has received high praise as well. Customers appreciate the classic diner food that is served hot and quickly, along with the diverse menu and great side dishes. However, some have mentioned the older decor and the non-brand jelly packets as areas for improvement. Overall, the Sunrise Restaurant is highly recommended for anyone in the area, especially for favorites like the hot meatloaf sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy.
