Food, price, and atmosphere were excellent. Service, on the other hand, was fair at best. Waited 15 min just to ask us if we had been waited on. Then 25 min for food. In the meantime, she never once came over to ask how we were doing or refill our drinks. Then I had to go to register to get my check. The food made up for our first visit. We will return for the sake of the food.
For an out of the way place, there is good food to be had. I had an omelet, which was good. Others had a Ruben sandwich and chipped beef. Both were good! If you're in the area and hungry, go for it.

Great food year after year. Never had a bad meal or service, even on busy days I’ve always been tentatively dotted on. Offering homemade pies and real maple syrup a trusted stop on any day of the week!
