Been there many times, me and my family. Love the ambiance, food is amazing and the service is great. Best “jalea” (fried seafood) and “lomo saltado” (sautéed steak tibits) in Long Island. Can’t wait to go back!

Great place
Los Andes is the best place for Peruvian food. It was empty when I arrived but, let me tell you the food does not disappoint. You need to order from here super authentic delicious food. The staff was super
Friendly and our waiter recommended two dishes one was steak the other was chicken. The food was seasoned to perfection the fries were crispy the steak tender. The skin of the chicken was seasoned so well it was delicious “Los Andes” did not disappoint !

Great prices and amazing portions!! Super tasty
The service and atmosphere are ok, nothing mind blowing, BUT THE FOOD. The food will keep you coming back for more. Sooooo good. All the seafood is fresh, the chicken tender, even the natural fruit juices are delish. The jalea, Peruvian paella and lomo saltado a lo pobre are some of my fav dishes

The food at this place is very good. Obviously overshadowed by the poor service provided. I don't blame the waiters of this place at all, but rather I pity them for the poor management of the "manager" or "owner" of the place. It is logical that having 3 people with the same position (doing practically the same thing)
They get busy with one table and a few take outs. Imagine 3 waiters sharing the tip for a lunch. Where the tip is already super low (they include it for a reason) and providing a terrible service due to the poor organization of the invisible "manager" or "owner" BTW.
But since they really don't know anything about service, they think that having 3 waiters makes things better. UNDER PAID WAITERS...at least they had a busser. Or someone at the take outs and pay them separately. We will continue visiting the place to see if anything changes. And I will find out if they are paid the minimum per hour and not per shift. POOR GUYS.
This place knows how to cook Peruvian dishes! Super authentic! Can’t go wrong with a nice tallarín verde con bistek (spinach spaghetti with steak) and chicha morada. It’s just gotten so expensive over the years! This is a once a year special occasion restaurant for me. Don’t forget to try the Alfajores!
Parking: Street parking or parking in back of restaurant!

Service was bad ! The restaurant was not even busy so you would expect the server be more attentive! Not one time the server came to our table to ask if we needed anything or to pick up the dirty plates and No napkins were given .and tip was included in the check the server did not deserve it . Food was ok but service needs to improve.
