Had a great experience here yesterday. Sat at the bar, bartender was a really nice guy and great service. The place has a welcoming vibe and I love that they have TV’s at the bar. The food was exceptionally good, the shrimp was amazing and that surf and turf took the cake! The stuffing on top of the lobster tail added so much flavor. Steak was great quality and cooked to perfection. I will be a repeat customer at this place. Hole in the wall in Deer Park.

I enjoy the food, it’s a quaint style Bar Restaurant. I especially liked the older version and set up of the old Popei’s design, it was more of a Sea and Ocean type ambiance, this Popei”s in Valley stream is more like a Franchise type eatery. They have extended their menu, and this makes it more impersonal and more affordable, like a fast food eatery, but a step above. I’m pretty sure you will like the food and service, as it is well frequented.
