The meatloaf panini was so tasty and the peanut butter cookie is the best I’ve ever had!

For the small rural town of Delhi to have such a terrific bakery cafe isn’t just unusual, it’s wondrous. Why can’t my town be like Delhi?

Had a very nice experience at the Blue Bee.

The service was great, as was the atmosphere. But our food was just good, not great.

I had the double-waffles with maple syrup and toasted pecans. They were quite good, but it was drenched in the maple syrup, resulting in the waffles being soggy and without any possibility of taking the remained home. Would have made more sense and would have resulted in zero waste if the syrup was on the side.

My wife had a bacon and cheddar quiche and it really seemed undone. Maybe that was how it was supposed to be, but it was more like a half-cooked scrambled egg than a quiche.

But was a very pleasant experience.

Stopped in for take out on a whim. The place was busy but they prioritized my table out order and it was up quickly. The atmosphere is very nice with several booths to sit at which appear to be antique. I ordered a panini and coleslaw which were excellent. I would definitely recommend and go back.

Maybe the best lunch we’ve ever had! Meatloaf sandwich with potato salad and a couple of scoops of salted caramel truffle ice cream. The meatloaf was moist and well seasoned on sourdough with a super ripe tomato and lettuce. The potato salad was luscious with loads of fresh dill and some lemon to brighten it up. The ice cream was so so good. Only thing we can fault was the mediocre iced tea … that could have been much better. The portions were so huge, we ended up splitting one sandwich and side and bringing the other one home. Worth every penny!
