We spent the day in Delhi and Oneonta to scout out places to live. Tuna III situated on the picturesque Main St. of Delhi, welcomed us with traditional Japanese design and an Amazing host and Chef. THE FOOD WAS DIVINE!✨️ The quality, labor and craftsmanship that went into the sushi and yakitori rivals and beats the Michelin restaurants in NYC. The owner gave us helpful tips and insights into the town as he prepared food as well! This is a definite visit and a delicious surprise to find in a small upstate town. Thank you!

Great food and great service. The hours are a bit short, but they cover dinner service mostly. Ask the owner what their speciality was, and it was a none menu item, so we ordered all of their salmon belly for the dinner service, and it cooked just right! He even turned down the AC so as not to let it get too cold before we ate it. Also had a sushi roll and a couple of their sizzling plate platters, one eel, and one steak, which were quite delicious.

I first started coming here after my family moved to the area when I was 14. Despite the changes to the area and the surrounding businesses, 18 years later it's still run by the same guy. The food is amazing and authentic, the atmosphere is relaxed and chill, and the service is spot on as it's always been. If you're looking for somewhere for your instagram feed, this place isn't flashy enough for that, but if you want a great meal with great service at a great price? You'll love this hole in the wall.
Parking: Tuna 3 is located right on main street, so you'll need to find a spot on the side of the road and potentially walk a little, but the same can be said of everywhere else in town that isn't McDonalds or at the strip mall.
Good food and fresh. Unfortunately their hours are misleading. The restaurant allegedly opens at 430pm for take out, but when I call at 5:55pm to place an order, I'm barked at to call back in an hour and rudely hung up on. They claim it's to fulfill online orders, but a quick search of door dash, grub hub, and Uber eats shows they they are not listed as an option for delivery or even to order from. If you want to open later, change your hours. Who wants to eat dinner at 7pm? It's a shame, I really like their food and it's the only decent place in town. It used to be my go to dinner spot, but I guess that's over. Again it's a shame because the food is phenomenal.

Tuna III in Delhi, NY, is an absolute gem! The owner and staff are incredibly welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure a delightful dining experience. The food? Simply sensational! From the fresh sushi dishes to their delectable sides, every bite is a flavorful journey. A must-visit spot that combines fantastic service with mouthwatering dishes!
Wilson, the owner took great care of us. We just told him what we liked and he made suggestions that were the perfect taste and portion size for our group. The sushi was fresh and tasty, the beef in our cooked dish was the most tender beef I've had in a Chinese or Japanese restaurant, the salmon nabe was a hearty and light accompaniment to the other dishes. My friends loved the fall off the bone sparerib appetizer that was big enough to fit as a main (I don't eat pork). The sushi chef was very kind and clearly took great care and pride in her skills (all the thumbs up for a female sushi chef!). Please don't let the decor or ambiance get in the way of your tastebuds (and then go across the street for some great soft serve for dessert)!
