Awesome food. I had a little trouble finding the place as it was in a nearby town in a food court. Once found, thr food was delicious. Some of the best samosas I've had and I asked for the chicken tikka masala spicy amd it was perfect. The owner was the first one on the area to open the other Shalimar Indian restaurants in the area and he told me he had sold them all and opened this place. I was telling him that the quality had gone down at the other places and this place was better. Next time if I'm not so hungry I would get take out. I only wish that this place was closer and that I had a little more tikka sauce bc it was that good!!

Excellent food, consistently good, large portions, my favorite order online and pickup or eat at the gallery. Menu is easy to follow, counter service very hospitable.

The food was great and so was the service. The owner was exceptionally kind, and my husband and I had a lovely conversation with him. The food was authentic and was fresh off the stove! I will definitely go back to this restaurant! Definitely recommend to those people looking for delicious Pakistani food!

We did take out but the owner or manager was fantastic!! The tandoori chicken was plentiful and good, naan was great! The vindaloo (chicken) sauce was amazing, highly recommend it. We also had samosas they were delicious, the mint chutney was a BRIGHT green color but tasty.

For what is essentially an enhanced food court experience, you get a pretty tasty meal here, everything comes out quickly, and the owner takes very good care of you. The menu is pretty extensive for the seemingly small kitchen space you can see behind the counter. My vegetable samosas (2) were piping hot and had a decent amount of "not potato" in them, accompanied by 2 sauces. The Chicken Tikka Masala Bowl includes a generous amount of well-prepared rice. Normally I pass on rice except as a vehicle for sauce, but I finished this. The sauce had a reasonably deep red color and an enjoyable spicy flavor, maybe a little less tomato flavor than I've had elsewhere, but still quite good. Naan, wrapped in foil, is fresh and hot, but not necessarily crisp. Flavored naans will have the flavors as a stuffing. My mango lassi was excellent - I almost wanted to steal a larger milkshake cup from nearby Herbie's and ask for that to be filled up instead. All in all, if you are looking for an Indian meal while at Galleria 7, you will be very satisfied here.

The original owners - they make it fresh every time and it is fantastic... had the Chicken Masala and Chana Masala (mild). Very tasty and just the right spice and flavors. There are many options and the staff / owner are very friendly. 5 stars for sure.

I have been to Shalimar on rt. 7 many times and was excited to see the new express location in the Galleria. They have some different menu items like the Aloo Tikki Kati Roll and I would say that I actually now end up going to this location over the other one because of the different options! The chat papri and palak paneer are also super good.

Yumminess! I seldom order indian food sinxe it's too much flavor for me but they serve it with basmati rice so i have to order. The portion is ok but with my tummy i probably have leftover. The chicken is so tender, the sauce is just right curry but could taste diff spices they put in the sauce. It is actually good for my tastebuds. The naan bread is tasty too and yum dipoing it with the curry sauce. The service is good. They serce it withing 10 min as the cashier told me. He's very nice and friendly too. This is located inside the Gallery Market where there are lots of food places. Lots of parking outside. I will surely be back.

Delicious food, extremely friendly service. Chicken tika masala was tender and excellent. Naan was very good and served so it stayed really hot.

I felt like trying this place over the other one in Latham. I could have gotten better Indian food in the freezer section of the grocery store. That said let's dig in The Pakora looked and tasted like they were a day old and put in an air fryer for too long. I would say it had a rubbery/sandy texture. I needed to throw them out. The Palak Paneer had a watery texture combined with ZERO flavor. To bring back the sandy theme, the Lamb Korma looked as though it had a sandy texture--sort of like spices that weren't mixed in, though it was bland. The lamb chunks were tender and decent (absent the sauce). Overall, I would suggest for this express place to look closely at the staff because this is completely unacceptable and I wasted $$. ‍

Great service and the food is amazing. Definitely recommend getting the baklava for dessert.
