Swifty's Restaurant and Pub Reviews
The food was good -overcharged for certain foods and when I went back after calling and told I would be refunded the difference, when I arrived at 1130am there was no one there that could help-was told to come back at 430 pm
Great atmosphere and delicious food and cocktails
Met some friends tonight (Tuesday night) here for dinner. They had never been before and we hadn’t seen each other in quite some time. We were all unaware of the reason so many people were there on a weeknight and parking was so tough but we’re excited to visit and just rolled with it.

Swifty's Restaurant and Pub is a popular spot in Delmar, known for its cozy atmosphere and delicious food. The restaurant is usually busy, but the staff remains pleasant, and seating is typically available. The menu offers a variety of options, including soups, salads, and sandwiches. Among the popular choices are the roasted red pepper, spinach and artichoke bisque, Irish onion soup, and the famous fish fry. The Bavarian pretzels and waffle fries are also well-liked. Regular customers enjoy the Reuben spring rolls and the fish and chips. Kids' meals offer great value with large portions of chicken fingers, hot dogs, fries, and onion rings at reasonable prices. While the atmosphere is divey-but-not-dirty, Swifty's is a local favorite that consistently pleases diners.
However, recent reviews highlight some areas for improvement. Customers have praised the food, with one enjoying a regular hamburger with cheddar cheese on brioche and sweet potato fries. Another customer loved the Autumn Chopped Salad and the pulled pork sandwich, but noted that service could be better. A group visiting for trivia night felt rushed and experienced a lack of communication about table availability. Despite these concerns, many still appreciate the great food and welcoming atmosphere, making Swifty's a place worth visiting in Delmar.
