Chef Sergio and his staff are warm and welcoming! The food reflects his love of serving authentic dishes. The ingredients were top quality and the taste was flavorful. Every dish at this tasting was perfect and represented the menu perfectly. The artichoke was pure bliss, hand made parpadelle magic, branding delicious and so much more! Chef visited every table which is key! Service was very friendly and attentive. The interior space was beautiful and inviting. It's a must go to, thanks Chef and Westchester Foodies!

I’m not usually one to leave reviews, but after several visits to Piccola, I feel compelled to say how consistently impressed I am with both the food and the service. This time, I tried the special — squid ink risotto with baby octopus — and it exceeded all expectations. Every bite was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. As always, the staff were warm, attentive, and made the experience even more enjoyable. Piccola continues to be a standout every time I visit.

Great food, great ambiance. This restaurant is always crowded for a reason. Very nice bar with lots of people hanging out. Make a reservation if you need a table

Piccola Trattoria is a wonderful place to enjoy a meal. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service makes you feel right at home. The cocktails are excellent; creative, refreshing, and beautifully made. If you’re not a cocktail person, be sure to check out the wine list. They have an amazing selection with very reasonable prices. Chef Sergio is truly outstanding. His dishes, especially the whole Branzino and the Cacio e Pepe pasta, are full of flavor and absolutely delicious… I can’t wait to come back❤️❤️❤️…
My friend and I were celebrating exciting news and unfortunately the service was slow and we didn’t receive our apps until almost 40 minutes later… our dinner arrived cold as well…. When it was time to pay the server slammed the payment machine (don’t know the exact name), and I was left to figure out how to enter tip… when I got to the point of entering tip, a specific # was not registering so the payment went through without tip .. when I asked to leave tip and told the server the situation he caught an attitude. I’m a resident here and I love to explore restaurants… I’m never coming here ever again.

You have not had fine dining until you eat at this restaurant. It is the sweet spot between Small enough where everyone treats you like Family but super classy. I live locally at Dobbs Ferry and the local community. Call it classy cheers. The first time that I sat down and had a full meal, I was with my son and the owner came out and serve the food and he intentionally makes connections with the patrons every night. No matter what I choose on the menu, it is always spectacular. My favorite drink is a signature drink, which is the Piccola that Pete the bartender created among several other signature drinks that are only three ingredients that won’t leave you with a hangover. The food has complex textures and flavors, and there are always many specials. The seafood and fish here are always especially phenomenal, but you can never go wrong with any of the pastas. I love the personal touches the picture of the owner. Sergio was a little boy inside the wine list and the decorations that all have a personal story.
The bar is my favorite place to sit, which is the center stage of the restaurant and is absolutely gorgeous and the atmosphere is beautiful unlike most locations where the bar is so dirty little corner off to the side. Every single staff person is absolutely phenomenal and brings warm and kind and energy that if they are welcome into their own home.
Classy but not bucci.

Piccola Trattoria is a fantastic restaurant - more creative than your typical “red-sauce” type of Italian restaurant. My favorite dish, hands down, is the Pappardelle con Nocciole - the fresh pasta is the perfect texture and the sauce with butternut squash and hazelnuts is deliciously creamy and flavorful! I also love the Paccheri al Forno which is hearty and cheesy, and so big that I always have leftovers for lunch the next day! The staff is very friendly and attentive making the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

I don't know what happened when you were a smaller restaurant the food was much better and greater selection on menu choices. Ordered Shrimp w/ Broccoli rabe. 5 med to large sized Shrimps w Broccoli rabe & it was under cooked chewy the sauce tasted like chicken bone broth and the salad was mostly arugula other ingredients were slim pickings & one glass of wine total $80 omg ...Too expensive and smaller portions. Too much salt, no flavor, Not returning. I'm disappointed.

We always have a terrific meal at Piccolo. The food is terrific and the room is quite comfortable. My only reservation comes from an error once made on my bill. Other than that, Sergio and the staff are exemplary.

I have been going here for a few years now. Family dinners, friends, meetings, girl’s nights, birthdays, etc... It’s always amazing, and never disappoints.
The food is delicious, the ambience is perfect. Every single person that works at Piccola is friendly and helpful. The owner and his wife are delightful people. Sergio, the owner, comes out of the kitchen, often, to mingle and make sure everyone is taken care of.
I have had catering from Piccola on several occasions. The owner personally goes over the menu with you. I have had them set it up for me, for parties, several times…and everything was perfect. Everyone raved. So many people asked who did my catering.
Most recently, Sergio saved me when I was responsible for the meals on a movie set in NYC. I was in a pinch when my carefully laid plans fell apart, and, last minute, went to Sergio for help. This was for a pick up. The chaffing dishes were beautifully boxed and easy to transport. And even though I had to drive an hour into the city, and then carry everything to a PH suite, where they were filming, and then unpack it…the food was PERFECT. I wish I had photos, but that day was so crazy. I did get a call from the producer, the next day, who said everyone was glowing about the meal from Piccola, saying it was the best food they ever had on a set. So kudos for that. Actually kudos for everything to everyone at Piccola!
There’s a separate bar area—I’ve stopped by with friends, for drinks, after an event, etc…it’s a cool spot on its own. Also, the restaurant is beautiful. The decor. You can see everything from outside. If you walk by, any day of the week, you’ll see a restaurant/bar full of happy people!

We really enjoy coming to this restaurant. The food is so delicious and they are always some interesting specials. I never take pics of food but this time I did. We have a crab appetizer special that was absolutely delicious (especially if you like spicy food!) we also had some pasta dishes that were very good. We highly recommend trying this restaurant.
