Sam's Ristorante Italiano in the beautiful town of Dobbs Ferry is an exquisite restaurant with a history stemming from 1953. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, with a colorful mixer of yellow and mustard with white, and Andrea Bocelli playing in the background. The service is wonderful and not rushed, with excellent customer service and a warm personality from the staff. The food is fantastic, super delicious, and outrageous. The Veal Capriccisa is lightly battered and seasoned to perfection, and the Chicken Scarparel includes chicken, Italian sausages, and bell-peppers in a savory sauce. The kids believe Sam's has the best Palermo pizza ever, a pizza with roasted vegetable toppings. The pizza is a favorite, and you can't go wrong with any selections. The family that owns it is fabulous and terrific in the community. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, but well worth it. Sam's is old school and knows how to treat their customers. An Italian meal should be an experience, not a quick rushed event, and Sam's is a must try.
