Best drive in around and great burgers!
Love it! Old school burger drive in feel, or can dine in. Great place for a burger and some ice cream to wash it down. Always friendly and always leave satisfied.

Only ate here one time so far. Had Mexican hot. Had to order another because they were small. But they were 5 bucks each

I was taken as a guest while visiting the area. This is a local favorite, and I can see why!

New owners. I had the chicken cranberry wrap which is only out a certain time. It had no flavor and it was what looked like it was chopped, pulverized in a blender. I could barely eat the one half. We ate in the car. The fish dinner hubby had, so so. No mash potatoes and gravy. I can only speak for myself. Staying home from now on. I miss Pete & Ruth.

I've been going here every year since I was a baby. This place never disappoints! They have amazing staff, and food, it's always delicious, and the atmosphere of a local restaurant is amazing.
Vegetarian options: Not tons of vegetarian options, but not bad if you are strictly vegetarian.

Great food, great customer service and great ice cream. The menu has an abundance of options and the service is top notch. Nice atmosphere and reasonably priced! Been a few times and will definitely be going back! Support small business!

Every visit here is a good visit. The people are so nice.
Such a cute small place, their prices are great compared to other drive-ins I’ve been too! Prices of things have gone up tremendously but they’ve done great with keeping things fair. Fried cauliflower and onion pedals are a must try! The twist ice cream is so good!
I don't like to talk negatively about any small business, but we've come here a few times and while the food is okay, it's nothing spectacular. The place itself is very nice and they always have creative specials and new things to try with ice cream. We were there over the weekend and it wasn't particularly busy but we waited a very long time. No problem, understandable. At a glance, the prices seem low but they nickel and dime you for everything. Charged for sauce with the popcorn chicken (the way she asked made it seem like it was included - not a big deal, but again, nickel and dime). The meals themselves are small. Our waitress was very nice and kept busy the whole time cleaning etc. $45 for 2 people to eat fryer food (not including ice cream) is pretty crazy considering the prices/quality of other restaurants nearby. What really turned us off though is when we went outside to get ice cream, the young kid working was belittled by the older lady when she took the ice cream out of his hand to weigh it and put her hand in his face saying it should be 5 ounces, not 7 like he had done. I totally understand the cost of things now but certain aspects just seem excessive and we will unfortunately not be returning.
The lady at the window has serious attitude issues, the food looks and tastes like school cafeteria food and is waaayyyy too overpriced. I came here as a kid and the food + service was way better. It’s simply not that way anymore. Save your money and time.

Our group went for a ride from the Lake George area to Dolgevile with a planned stop for lunch at Green Acres. This was our first visit to this eatery. It is located just outside of town and is a modest sized building serving to go and sit down meals and ice cream. The eleven of us sat together and there was still plenty of room for others.
The menu ( see photos) provided lots of tasty options at reasonable prices. The group sampled a range of items off the menu and we were all pleased with the quality and portion size of the food. The staff was friendly and provided good service.
We all agreed that we would be back in the fall when the leaves change colors.
