“We decided to stop in for a quick meal on a Sunday. The bar was full of patrons watching football. The dining room was empty. The lunch menu consists of burgers, wraps, hot or cold subs and salads. The dinner menu has a nice selection of pastas, steaks, etc. We each had a prime rib sub. We both thought our sandwiches were delicious. I had 2 IPA's (no draft beer) and my bride had 2 ciders. The bar bill was 17 dollars for 4 drinks. How do you beat that? The subs were 12.95, and were very generous. My wife took a piece of apple pie home. She stated that it was home made and delicious. You really can't go wrong. We will be back.”

“Found myself in the area with a couple hours to kill, and I always enjoy visiting breweries I haven't been to before, especially when not near home, so Rock Valley was a perfect stop and ended up being a hidden gem.Enjoyed a flight to start to be able to try multiple beers/styles, and enjoyed every single one, especially the Hawaiian Milkshake IPA, which paired perfectly with the surprising near-60 degree weather we had in mid-February. Fruit forward with just a hint of hoppiness, it was just straight up delicious; an IPA for anyone who doesn't consider themselves an IPA fan for sure. My other favorite was the Sunflower Stout, which had a great depth of flavor highlighted by the coffee roastiness that I love in a stout. The live blues musician on the Saturday night I visited was an added bonus. Have to add too that Dana behind the bar was super friendly and helpful and made me feel right at home despite being by myself during my visit.But the highlight of the visit came when Mike, the owner & brewer, was making his rounds and invited me to tag along for a little brewery tour with some friends of his. Getting to see some of the behind-the-scenes for where the brewing happens and more of the large music venue space in the brewery was a real treat, let alone to be able to chat and talk beer with the brewer himself. Already looking forward to making a visit when the weather turns toward spring/summer to experience the live bands that they have lined up. Incredibly friendly and welcoming, I'll happily come back when we're driving through the area again to support Mike and his brewery.”

“Looking for a place to get a drink and some food after tying up our boat at the local marina for the night in St. Johnsville. Cosmo's was the only place open and fairly quiet when we sat down. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The menu was simple but had enough choices for us. We ordered and had a few beers and when the food came out it was fresh cooked and good portioned. Would highly recommend this place for a cool old fashioned bar ambiance with great people and food.”

It was hopping on a rainy, Friday night so make your reservations! Staff was super attentive and friendly despite the crowd! There is a bar attached to the main dining room which gives me Wisconsin supper club vibes and brings me back home! Love this place and will be returning. “I have been going to Lombardo's since I was a kid. The service is excellent, and the food is good! We had a small baby shower there a few years ago and it was a fantastic venue for it.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp that goes from the handicapped spots to the building.”

“I wanna give a big shout out to the driver of the Tucker groomer and the lady who answered the phone my son rode in the groomer this past Saturday left his $80 gloves in it and they were so generous and kind and mailed them to us and it made my son’s day when He opened the mailbox to see that his gloves had returned home”

“This is the most amazing place, not only because they have the best experience at mining Herkimer Diamond than the competitors, (and I say that due to my experience having mined a few of the competitors) but add on top of that the fact that it’s all shaded which makes a world of difference. But the #1 thing that makes this place the best is the hospitality that you are given from the moment you step out of your car to the last moments you have as the owner drives you back out of the mining areas so you don’t have to walk anywhere! But the bathrooms close by the mining areas! He personally drives you in as well! They have geologists on site really eager to give you a hand in any way you need and the owners 3 sons are awesome!! Don’t forget to say thank you and come off a tip when you are given their service to carry your equipment into the car, they are young gentleman and deserve learning that hard work is appropriated.All in all I have enjoyed each trip to the mines up here, everyone of them have great things to offer but these guys are way my favorite because they offer the whole picture including real good people who make you fee welcome from the start and feel more like a good friend by the time you leave. They are great people with huge hearts and they are all just as involved with the experience as you are! You will want to go back the minute you get home. Oh, they have animals (calves and goats) on site for the kids and you to pet which is a great distraction when the young ones get bored picking up all the diamonds that are everywhereYou will not regret it, take my adv and check these guys out”
