Brimstone Bakery has the most wonderful staff, a lovely atmosphere, and the most delicious baked goods and food. The food and baked goods are made on site by them, right down to dressings, sauces, and fillings. Everything is crafted with care, and everything is delicious. If you get the opportunity, definitely stop by.”

“Drove an hour and a half to get to this restaurant from Camp of the Woods. Great service and probably one of the best Thai food we’ve ever had! Wish we lived closer because the service was just as amazing as the food. Thank you so much for being here! We ordered pad Thai, three kids of curry, fried rice, and drunken noodles. “driving through the area, I googled “coffee shops near me” and this one came up with the best reviews. We pulled into the driveway, walked in and were greeted with the best attitude and atmosphere. I ordered an iced chai with oat milk and a caprese sandwich with chicken, as a barista and cafe worker myself this is one of the best places I have ever been. I am so happy to have stopped and happy to now know about this spot as it will be a regular stopping place when in the area. I highly recommend.”

“Creamiest,flavorful soft ice cream ever. I come from another state, and nothing comes close. I go as much as I can. Only wish more flavors were offered, and a bit less of the fruit flavors. It's a gamble on what flavors they're serving any given week. Regardless, chocolate is always good, and you get gigantic, fun portions. Great outdoor atmosphere, many choices on menu, and plenty of parking. So worth it!”

“Four of us went to Beardslee Castle last night and requested the dungeon. We were seated in the small room with jail like doors which we will definitely request next time we visit. Kelly and Bonnie provided excellent service and made the night totally special. The food was very tasty from Rum Punch, Jumbo Wings, Entrees to the Tiramisu. The dungeon was awesome, the castle and decor were very cool. Thank you so much for making our visit extraordinary and very memorable.”

I recommend if you are not doing anything on a Saturday afternoon to please go and support The Red Shed Tap Room. “Oh my god - we're having the best time here! I had the Upstate burger and it was the best I ever had. Mandy, our bar tender, even picked us up at Lock 16 so we didn't have to walk. Fantastic place! You have to go.”

“We stopped for a hamburger and a liverwurst sandwich. The food was delicious—good white bread on the sandwich and a well-grilled patty on the hamburger—and the macaroni salad was deliciously different from the usual deli stuff. It arrived quickly, too! The price was right, and it’s in the heart of town, just a hop from I-90, but away from the noise of traffic. Definitely the place to stop, when you’re passing through. And T here’s Guinness on tap, if you’re not just passing through!”
