Staying at the American Hotel is a fun and exciting experience because it is such an amazing historic landmark. The style of the hotel and the decoration does an amazing job immersing you in the history of Sharon Springs and the era in which traveling to the hot springs was an essential part of elite life. Absolutely lovely! I arrived late, and self-checkin was easy with clear communication. Room was very clean and comfortable. AC worked well. Enjoy the delicious breakfast in the garden if you can- so nice.
