“driving through the area, I googled “coffee shops near me” and this one came up with the best reviews. We pulled into the driveway, walked in and were greeted with the best attitude and atmosphere. I ordered an iced chai with oat milk and a caprese sandwich with chicken, as a barista and cafe worker myself this is one of the best places I have ever been. I am so happy to have stopped and happy to now know about this spot as it will be a regular stopping place when in the area. I highly recommend.”

Bartender was friendly. She was also the cook. The only menu in the bar is in the back and it’s hand written on a board. I got the Zesty burger and it was solid. Thick juicy pub burger. The toppings were a nice addition. Crunchy seasoned fries. Very generous portions. The Guinness was not very good but I’m sure the other beers are fine.”

“So welcoming! The coffee shop Berean Bean is a must stop. A purely donation based coffee shop/diner. So sweet in spirit! And local ladies gather there for needlework on Tuesday morning's. I was able to just sit with them and passively participate in their circle. I was surprised by grace! What a treat! We are boaters traversing the Great Loop/IntraCoastal Waterway and will recommend this stop to all we meet! Thank you!”

“We stopped by on a whim on the way to get our new puppy, and what a wonderful surprise! Brimstone Bakery has the most wonderful staff, a lovely atmosphere, and the most delicious baked goods and food. The food and baked goods are made on site by them, right down to dressings, sauces, and fillings. Everything is crafted with care, and everything is delicious. If you get the opportunity, definitely stop by.”

“Drove an hour and a half to get to this restaurant from Camp of the Woods. Great service and probably one of the best Thai food we’ve ever had! Wish we lived closer because the service was just as amazing as the food. Thank you so much for being here! We ordered pad Thai, three kids of curry, fried rice, and drunken noodles. All was delicious.”

“Very quaint and historic. The menu was decent with good drink selection. However, the restaurant closed right around 8 and the bar area shut down around the same time. 10 pm would be better on a weekend but other than that, not bad”

“Creamiest,flavorful soft ice cream ever. I come from another state, and nothing comes close. I go as much as I can. Only wish more flavors were offered, and a bit less of the fruit flavors. It's a gamble on what flavors they're serving any given week. Regardless, chocolate is always good, and you get gigantic, fun portions. Great outdoor atmosphere, many choices on menu, and plenty of parking. So worth it!”

Whatever the reason for stopping by, make this place a stop on your list of places to visit. Their GLUTEN TAG HEFEWEIZE was one of the best Hefewizes I have ever tasted! This is a mother daughter owned, family run brewery that should be on anyone who likes beer list of places to visit. Located on hwy 5 in Upstate, it should be a must stop location. With limited hours make sure you plan your trip accordingly, but definitely make this a stop on it. They do have IPA's for those looking, lagers, ale, and wheat beer but I can't say enough about how crisp and clean this Hefe was. I will be back with friends and if I have anything to say about it, many more times!”

I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area. 100% worth the trip and enjoyed being in there chatting with them while the food was being prepared. Definitely will be back!”

“Stopped in and decided to give the new owners a shot. we were not disappointed one bit. it was absolutely the best meal we have had out in a long time. great size portions, flavorful food, very friendly and welcoming staff, price was very reasonable for our meal. 1000x improvement over the last meal I had under former owners, we will be eating there every chance we get”
