“Drove an hour and a half to get to this restaurant from Camp of the Woods. Great service and probably one of the best Thai food we’ve ever had! Wish we lived closer because the service was just as amazing as the food. Thank you so much for being here! We ordered pad Thai, three kids of curry, fried rice, and drunken noodles. All was delicious.”

“From the parking lot, it looks like this Subway is closed because it is behind a vacant store front. However, once you get inside, it quite spacious. The food is like any other Subway, so nothing amazing -- but pretty good. Everything we had was fresh and well prepared, and the quality of the service was good.”

Brimstone Bakery has the most wonderful staff, a lovely atmosphere, and the most delicious baked goods and food. The food and baked goods are made on site by them, right down to dressings, sauces, and fillings. Everything is crafted with care, and everything is delicious. If you get the opportunity, definitely stop by.”

“driving through the area, I googled “coffee shops near me” and this one came up with the best reviews. We pulled into the driveway, walked in and were greeted with the best attitude and atmosphere. I ordered an iced chai with oat milk and a caprese sandwich with chicken, as a barista and cafe worker myself this is one of the best places I have ever been. I am so happy to have stopped and happy to now know about this spot as it will be a regular stopping place when in the area. I highly recommend.”

“Creamiest,flavorful soft ice cream ever. I come from another state, and nothing comes close. I go as much as I can. Only wish more flavors were offered, and a bit less of the fruit flavors. It's a gamble on what flavors they're serving any given week. Regardless, chocolate is always good, and you get gigantic, fun portions. Great outdoor atmosphere, many choices on menu, and plenty of parking. So worth it!”

Vintage furnishings, gourmet breakfast and dinner selections, a friendly bartender pouring your favorite drink, and welcoming owners are part of your experience here. Michael and Marco, the owners gave us tips on things to do in the area and provided a bit of history about their hotel. The rooms are filled with wood antiques and elegant period furnishings. Parking is available, and an accessible ramp makes it easy to transport luggage from your car. Reasonable prices, friendly service and attention to all of your needs makes it an easy choice for a getaway. Families and groups are welcome. It’s on our list for the best getaway experience.”

The price was right, and it’s in the heart of town, just a hop from I-90, but away from the noise of traffic. Definitely the place to stop, when you’re passing through.
