Ordered via Uber Eats. Everything was cold when it got here (we like 3 miles away) the pizza might have been okay had it been hot, but it wasn’t properly cooked. For coal fired the dough wasn’t cooked through, the cheese wasn’t melted. It was mediocre at best. Avoid. Would not order again.

I somehow didn't get any photos from this visit even though I shot video. Came to this Grimaldi's location before going to a Mets game with some friends. I had been to the original in the past as well as a location in El Paso, Texas so I knew a general idea of what to expect. I enjoy a Grimaldi's pie as a nostalgic thing and as a solid pizza, but past that it is pretty middle of the road compared to some of the great pizza places in NYC. When you get a pie like this in El Paso or somewhere else not known for it's pizza it's a major win. This pie in NYC is still good, but there are many other places I'd hit first.

Two small pies and a salad for over 60 dollars. Crust is good, sauce is good, but god darn is it overpriced, the salad is literally lettuce and a few croutons, it was supposed to have cheese too, and I guess it did, if you actively look, you can find some shreds on it. The sausage pizza had 11 pieces of sausage in total. We counted. 1 to two quarter sized slices of sausage per slice. That was like 5 bucks extra, so almost 50 cents per slice of sausage. Crust is on point and sauce is pretty good, but at this price point it should be spectacular. Delivery was fast so 3 stars instead of two, probably will not go back, but was not that bad, just no value whatsoever. Delivery driver actually apologized about the price and told me that every one complains about it, hopefully the owner listens.

Excellent service! We came in late and the owner made my daughter some gluten free pasta special even though the kitchen was technically closed. Super welcoming friendly atmosphere and the food was quick and amazing!

I ordered two pies tonight for delivery. One was a specialty pie, the other was a gluten free pie. When the pizza arrived I thought it was odd that they both looked really similar. As in, same size, same crust, same everything. Being gluten free I called the restaurant to double check if my pizza was in fact gluten free and was told “oh no, we don’t have gluten free pizza tonight.” Instead of calling me to let me know and give me the option to cancel my order and find gluten free pizza elsewhere, they sent me a regular cheese pizza. I did not order gluten free because I felt like trying something different, I ordered it because I have to be gluten free. To switch the order on something that is allergy related is not only bad service, it’s negligent. If I hadn’t called and had instead eaten the pizza, I would have wound up in the ER. Unbelievably bad, and frankly cavalier customer service all the way around.

Dietary restrictions: Clearly, based on my review, cavalier and nonchalant about food allergies. Be careful here!

The restaurant charged $100 for 2 Pizza's that weren't good (wet not we and 4 canned drinks. Super slow for a Saturday night and the kitchen didn't clean up after themselves leaving the restaurant dirty. Aging restaurant with no management.

The restaurant was empty but dirty. I wiped dirt off the plates and the bathroom was disgusting. Kitchen was dirty and pizza was overwhelming wet.

Some time you just want a good slice of pizza and these guys been doing a great job for years. I have eaten the pizza before but the one different is they were empty compared to before covid. I will say on that note if you want to eat out with the family for $25, a pizza pie.

Was feeling famished after 85 miles of cycling. Passed by here many times and always wanted to give it a try. The urge was unbearable today due to the stomach growls.Walked in and was going to order 2-3 slices but then was informed they only serve pies. “I can eat a horse” as the saying goes. So I’m game.Asked what was popular and was told “the Margherita Pie for $25.” After being told it only takes 5 minutes preparation. I’m sold!Fastest service ever. It only took 20 seconds for the pie to land in my hands after placing the order. One just came out of the oven and they decided to give it to me first since the customer hasn’t arrived yet. ????I picked up a slice right there and ate it on the way to the garage. By the time I placed the box in the front seat, I got to working on a 2nd slice . Pizza is really good. Thin crust and a bit of sweetness in the tomato sauce. The pizzas are cooked to order in a charcoal brick oven. I enjoyed the experience and devoured another 3 slices when I got home. It’s definitely better once it comes out of the oven hot.Job well done Grimaldi’s ??.
