“There aren't many decent Korean restaurants near Little Neck, but I'm glad there's a barbecue restaurant in Seongbuk-dong. The food and service are good and good value for money, but it is unfortunate that there is not enough parking space and the sound is loud due to the small space.”
“Has been around for as long as I've lived here (42 years). Very friendly service, fresh food, great sandwiches and you can get meals premade that are affordable and very good. One of the last deli's left, especially in this area.”
“For a cool tucked away, super spacious sports bar, they serve decent food. And generous portions. The honey garlic wings r really good and their hot wings are decent. Nachos were plentiful and yummy. Waffle fries were excellent. Regular fries were also thin cut rustic ones we had from the kiddie burger menu- also great. Overall a vibe. Esp for the football fan with all their screens n sleek wooden pillar design. However, they seem short handed and not a lot of people know nor frequent this spot so the comraderie was somewhat spotty. Maybe that's why I dig it.”
“Came on 4/23/23 for an impromptu birthday ice cream cake. Have to thank the server's! They were hesitant to write on the cake but gave it their best try! Which I am super appreciative!! Instead of a blank birthday cake, I got a great one with a smiley! Its extra special since they didnt just turn me away! ?? Thank you! You are the reason I had a great experience instead of a disappointed one. ”
“Best in little neck, New YorkVegetarian options: A good amount of optionsParking: Not a problemKid-friendliness: NoWheelchair accessibility: Very accessible for wheelchair”
“The best Chinese food in the area, hands down. You have to taste the fried chicken wing. The wings are fresh and marinated in a delicious seasoning, omg. A must. The beef and broccoli with white rice, great. The food is seasoned perfectly and not too saucy. If you like saucy food let them know. The Singapore mei fun is also amazing and the sushi is good as well.”
“Impressed by the exceptional service. The staff's professionalism and remarkable efficiency stood out, delivering a swift and customer-centric experience. A commendable blend of quality and service excellence. Highly recommended.”
“We were a brunch party of 12 at 12. Friendly warm staff greeted us as soon as we arrived. Every staff member was attentive. I mean everyone in passing acknowledged us with a friendly smile and asked if our needs were being met.The food was delicious ! Every one of our dishes from waffles, pancakes, steak, fried rice , everything that came from the kitchen to our table was great.Thank you QueensBoro we really had a great experience.”
“The ambiance is stylish and comfortable, and the dishes are exquisite? We chose the ?$100 pp Omakase for 2 and also ordered a few appetizers and nigiri a la carte. The appetizers include a steamed egg—soft and smooth, with the sauce flavor just right—you can order it with added Uni.Since every ingredient was so fresh and sweet, we couldn't resist ordering more scallop, uni, and wagyu nigiri to satisfy our cravings~The cocktails were fruity and very professionally made?. The dessert's cheesecake has sesame flavor?Check this place out‼️”
“Thanks for the service, delicious food! The young girl with red hair is very nice and pretty... I will definitely return for other good tacos and for her quality of service.”
“Let me just say here that I have been to Haidilao many times and the food is not only delicious but also very warm. Just like today, I would like to express my strong thanks to the handsome guy who served us, helped us find parking tickets in the garbage, and patiently helped us change the bottom of the pot. really thankful! Must praise!”
“I will rate this place somewhere between three and four. The restaurant is beautiful, and the staff were courteous and friendly, well deserved 5-star rating. The food is a hit and miss. You need to know what to order in this place, otherwise, the dining experience could be unpleasant to your palates. The ribs in the cage looked fun but not impressive while eating them. The bathrooms were super unpleasant. It is a publicly shared bathroom and is poorly managed.Vegetarian options: There were not a lot of vegetable dishes here, but decent selections. Need to specify no meat for special dietary requirementsParking: The parking lot is expensive in the basement, and SUPER DIRTY AND SMELLY in the stairwells.”
“TLDR: Decent Indian in Jackson Heights, close to the train station. Comfy seating.I was very much looking forward to this meal but maybe I got here past it's prime. The place is well lit, cozy but overall it was just alright. The biryani wasn't quite as spicy or seasoned as I'd expect. Butter chicken the meat was a bit on the drier side, the saag also a not too punchy in flavors.I really wanted to love this place but the food was just kind of okay. Maybe it was an off day because the reviews are very supportive.Service was nice though and seems like a nice family run restaurant. Perhaps I'd have a better experience on a revisit and ordered differently.”
“Best Italian fresh mozzarella in New York City, including Brooklyn.Arthur Ave in the Bronx is truly the last "Little Italy" in the NY metro area. And I'm someone who grew up near Our Lady of Pompeii in Greenwich Village also have lived on Brooklyn near Bensonhurst and Bay Ridge.Your place for Italian cheese, cold cuts and fresh mozzarella.”
“Friends got together today and had a very good meal. We all like this kind of buffet barbecue. It tastes good and the waiter has a good attitude. I recommend it.”
“Very friendly and attentive staff that go above and beyond. The food is very tasty. They have a wide variety of food, including a wide selection of fried food, all of which is all you can eat. They have smoothies and other menu items to purchase if you still have room in your stomach.”
“Lisi , Gresa and Rinori are wonderful they gave us excellent service, wonderful food. The vibe in here is amazing. 10 out of 10 would absolutely come again. We made a trip all the way from Toronto to come try and it was worth the trip!!!”
“I can’t describe how amazing the food and staff were ! The person who I believe was the manager was very attentive and mad us laugh so much. The person who was cooking our meat tonight was also super friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to all of my friends. Thank you so much SSAM TONG !!!!”
“The food was spectacular. Our server, hostess, barmaid and valet were truly the best. They all deserve to be recognized on great customer service. The hostess came to our table well after we paid and asked us politely if we wouldn't mind moving to the bar. I understood the reasoning for this completely. The manner in which this was done was very professional. I know there are people that have a problem with this. We are not one of those. It's all in the way it is handled which was very professional. We did go to the bar and the staff was kind enough to offer us a drink for understanding. We were pleasantly surprised by this and very grateful. We appreciated the parking instructions sent by the restaurant. It made it so much easier knowing in advance what to expect. We made a long trip from Long Island and look forward to returning.”
“Let me tell you about this amazing place I found for pastries and coffee! It's a real hidden gem! From the moment you walk in, the delicious aroma of freshly baked pastries surrounds you and makes you feel at home. The cakes are simply divine, each bite is an explosion of flavor that makes you want more.”
“I really wish this place was not that far from me. Aguachile is perfect, everything is. Just go if you want to try a really genuine Mariscos from Sinaloa. Also the tacos are fire! Prices are great as well as the service.”
“Nothing to criticize, food and service was above average. The neighborhood has some unsavory characters, so be careful.Parking: There is a municipal lot right next door.”
“This place right here is IT!!! The burritos, the tacos, the nachos, the grilled chicken & veggies. It’s incredibly delicious. Burritos are huge and literally & figuratively PACKED with flavor. Hard shell tacos are so yummy. Beware of their chipotle sauce—it’s kickass! This place has great reviews in Zagats too. Pricing is a little high but food is expensive. Parking sucks in this area but I would not pass it up. Dining in is tight but fast service & cute little atmosphere. Other than that, it’s def worth the try & you will go back!!”
“Been going there since I'm a kid in the 60s and 70s. Used to live in the neighborhood on Granger Street just a short walk away. Is also close to PS 14 my old elementary school. Still the best Italian ices around.”
“Incredible meal. Totally unique. We had green curry, duck larb, and the half chicken. We’re still talking about it days later. Can’t wait to come back and try the crab curry.”
“This has been my go to Thai spot for years. It’s a really small restaurant and fits around 15 or so diners, so if you come for dinner you may need to wait for your seat. Pro tip - go for lunch or early dinner. My family and I recently dined here on a weeknight and got there around 6pm. By the time we were leaving, the place was packed. My favorite thing to order is their Pla Pao set ($60) - which includes their grilled fish, choice of papaya salad, and another side. I always get their regular Tum Thai papaya salad, and customize it to extra sour, less sugar, and 3 chilis. Another pro tip - every restaurant has their own scale of mild, medium, spicy hot so just tell them exact number of chili! Hug Esan is the probably only restaurant I can think about that is able to make papaya salad to my taste. The fish obviously is the star of the show - very fresh, perfectly cooked and flaky. I love eating it with their tangy red-orange sauce. We also ordered their Gai Yang - recently it isn’t as good as I remembered and price was increased to $18.Spring rolls is always a hit here - it comes with a sweet sauce and a side of lettuce, mint, and cilantro to wrap it up for a healthy twist. They also cut it up into bite size pieces so it’s easily shareable in a group.Cash only establishment!”
“Gan Hoo BBQ offers a tantalizing taste of Korean BBQ delights. As soon as you enter, the savory aroma beckons you into a world of culinary bliss. The diverse selection of meats ensures there's something for everyone, and the interactive grilling experience adds a fun twist to the meal. With attentive service and flavorful side dishes, Gan Hoo BBQ is a must-visit destination for any BBQ enthusiast.”
“this is one of the best food places in flushing. we come here every time we visit new york and always get numerous lamb skewers. the skewers are so flavorful and extremely juicy. along with the spiciness, it makes a perfect combination and a true jewel of flushing.lamb skewer (9.5/10)”
“It’s always a good time at CQLZ. Be warned that the wait is long, usually 2-3 hours Friday-Sunday, esp at dinner, so you should just come out down your name and then explore Flushing. The larger the group, the longer the expected wait (eg if >6, they only have 3 tables that size, so it takes a while). Beautiful interior reminiscent of an old Chinese village. The broth here is delicious. If you like spicy, the hot broth got you covered with however hot you want it. If you don’t like spicy, the tomato broth and the mushroom broth are both solid, with the mushroom broth being more delicate. The meat and vegetables are all pretty fresh, and you should probably get 3-5 things per person depending on how hungry you are. The sauce is make as you want, and they have some recs for combinations at the bottom of the menu if you get overwhelmed with the options.Definitely worth a try. This is our go to hot pot spot.”
“This place is my family's favorite pizza spot on Long Island. We recently catered from Toskana for a 35-person party. The service was professional and friendly, and the pasta and baked ziti were both excellent.”
